George’s Restaurant Bar & Catering - (Near Waco, TX)

5 /5 GO KR: If youre able foodie and looking for the dining heart of Waco,TX then look no further than Georges. The staff was beyond welcoming and made you feel like this was the only place you wanted to be. With a slightly over modest crowd we were promptly seated and our orders were taken in less than 3 minutes. No more than 10 minutes went by and our food was served hot and ready. The drinks are sailor approved, the food was impeccable and the environment screams welcome to Waco. 10/10 I would recommend this place to the father, son and the holy ghost if they were looking to the total package. Kudos to everyone involved in making this a worthy experience.

5 /5 Aaron Chadwick: What a wonderful treat! Had to come to Waco for some business and wanted some lunch. I was painted to George’s. From the front hostess station, to my server Parker and a manager, Callie, who brought out my to go order of I think crazy wings, first impression was fantastic and professional. I ordered the chicken friend steak, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes casserole. Was not disappointed. Wonderful breading and crunch on the chicken fried steak. The meat was tender throughout. Also got some jalapeño cornbread and a role, both delicious! Ice cold beer in a frozen glass. Fresh iced tea as well! I will definitely come back again and recommend George’s to everyone I know. Sorry no pictures this time. I was to hungry to take the time! Update, I enjoyed everything so much, I stayed a bit longer, enjoyed and ice cream Sunday and brought a cobbler home to my wife in Montgomery.

5 /5 Joshua Marshall: Great food at a great price. This is a huge venue with lots of seating. There is a traditional restaurant feel, bar restaurant combination and high tops with bar. They even have outside seating. The food is great. I Highly recommend the onion rings. We had a large group and everyone enjoyed their meal and left incredibly full. The chicken fried steak seemed like a top choice among our group as well.

5 /5 Unos Production: This place seems to amaze me. Its not just a regular bar and grill, this place has actually really good food. I drove an 1 hr to come here and try it. Wow. I the shrimp pasta and getting something like this in a bar and grill is pretty freaking good. Thank you so much and oh, the rolls are delicious as well. Nice and warm and soft. Them there good.
