Golden Chick - (Near La Grange, TX)

Linda Taft BLVD delivered a truly memorable dining experience. The food was outstanding—every dish bursting with flavor, clearly crafted with quality ingredients and culinary care. The seasoning was spot-on, and the textures were perfectly balanced. From appetizers to entrees, the plates arrived looking absolutely beautiful—garnished just right and presented with restaurant-level elegance that made us pause for pictures before diving in. The atmosphere was just as impressive. Inside, the space feels wide open and thoughtfully designed, with modern touches and a relaxed, upscale vibe. Outdoors, seating by the pools created a breezy, resort-like feel. It’s an ideal setting for slow sips and good conversation. However, be prepared for a slow pace when it comes to service. While the staff was friendly and welcoming, the wait between seating, ordering, and receiving food was longer than expected. This isn’t the place for a quick bite—but if you’re looking to unwind, linger, and enjoy great company, BLVD fits the bill beautifully. Would definitely recommend for date nights, celebrations, or when you just want to treat yourself to great food and good vibes—with no rush.

Sancudo Bravo Great breakfast. Ordered a bacon and egg taco plate and coffee. I also ordered Ranchero sauce on the side. Within a few minutes it was promptly served. The refried beans were very flavorful as well. Most mornings there arent many breakfast customers in the main eating area as there were in other restaurants that serve Mexican food. But the breakfast plate I usually order on a regular basis is consistently good. The waitress is usually attentive and the atmosphere is ok. I dont like the clunky wooden chairs they have because theyre not easy to move. But I come there for good comfort food and coffee and this place meets my expectations.

Ben Hogan Southern comfort country homemade food at its best. Ive had the chicken fried steak here a couple of times and it never disappoints. Add on the fried okra, mashed potatoes and cornbread. Doesnt get any better. I really think their chicken fried steak is the best in the area. One of these days Ill make it to the other items on the menu but its hard to pass up that c.f.steak. Service is very good with a super friendly inviting atmosphere.

Ron Estala This hidden little gem is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the county. Their pricing is well below other Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh and hot and made from scratch. Tables are clean and the service is attentive. Would 10/10 recommend anyone coming to eat a meal here.

KM S Had never heard of this restaurant before, but saw it on Uber Eats and was surprised they had bourbon chicken. Usually, it’s hard for me to find and it was so good! Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Gabriel Ramos Sr. Im giving 5 stars as it was as expected. Food was hot, service friendly and atmosphere is as advertised. Price a little too high on hamburgers, jalapeño poppers and taters.
