Golden Corral Buffet & Grill - (Near Lufkin, TX)

4 /5 shelby satcher: I was pleasantly surprised by the food and friendly service. I have not been to a buffet in years and I had low expectations, but everything was fresh. The food was mislabeled, so we had to ask what some things were. Our server was friendly and attentive. Will come back.

5 /5 Marilyn Bradel: I always enjoy eating here. Im a meat eater and there is always plenty of delishious meat available. My husband eats veggies and can always load up on plenty of them. I have never been disappointed in the quality of the good food here. It is always expertly cooked. My favorite is the fried fish. I also love the shrimp. This is my favorite place to eat in Lufkin, unfortunately Im not here often so it is a real treat. I highly recommend this restaurant.

3 /5 Cindy Lee: I witnessed one of the worst bosses in golden corral today... right between the cash registers and the buffet area. I manager was blessing out. A half a dozen ish employees... i didnt stand around and listen to what was being said but I promise you he was not giving them a good job, talk. Thats a cause for her immediate termination, nobody in a supervisory position should ever bless out employees right there in the middle of the floor.... since moving here a couple of months ago, this is the second time ive been in here apparently, its management that is the reason that this golden corral is not up to acceptable expectations.... ive never had any issues with table staff... theyve always been quite pleasant and attentive, but not overly... To eat here is grossly overpriced... I did alert the sweet lady at the salad bar to remove the cold shrimp... i have no idea what was wrong with it, but it was nasty.. i dont waste food, i did not clean my plates, the food just didnt taste, right and was barely warm. Ive been to a lot of golden corrals, in many states and locations and I like them... this one gets a thumb down...

5 /5 ZACH RIGSBY: Out of state guests. Stopped in about 20 min after they opened. Friendly staff, food was hot & fresh, large variety of choices, great service (waitress was very kind & cleared our table promptly), & the mens room was exceptionally clean. Great place, wed stop in again for sure & for the food that we got for the price per person, Id say we definitely got our moneys worth.
