Southern Gourmet Kitchen - Plano

Krystal Sanders Southern Gourmet Kitchen is truly a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine Southern hospitality. The service was magnificent—attentive, friendly, and full of heart. And the food? Simply delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. You can tell that everything is made with love and care, just like a true home-cooked Southern meal. Whether it’s their savory entrees or the mouthwatering sides, everything hits the spot. If you’re looking for a place that serves comfort food with a gourmet twist and treats you like family, Southern Gourmet Kitchen is the place to go. I can’t wait to come back!

Randy Hargrove Definitely not the place to stop for ice after work. They do a shift change at 5 and are down to 1 register. Not a good time since the majority of the workforce gets off at that time. Also was told bags of ice were 4lbs for $3.50 and 8lbs for $6 dollars. I didnt know they made 4lb bags of ice, perhaps the gas station attendant wasnt trained properly.

Kathi Fasching What a great Spot! We just happened to be walking by while enjoying the seawall and decided to pop in for some drinks and snacks and it totally hit the spot! Great cocktails and a lovely view of the Gulf and Pleasure Pier. We also ordered the sampler of their appetizers and it was so much food we had to ask for a to go box. Super yummy shrimp and OMG the cheese sticks!! Loved are very attentive waiter and oh course the atmosphere.

RN CHEW Not all locations do everything right but this one certainly did on this visit! Seated immediately for an early dinner and greeted by host server Saniyah, who come to find out was a new hire only about 4 days in but it seemed like shed been on staff for a lot longer. Saniyah answered all questions, was very efficient in all aspects as well as taking a moment to make sure my 93 year old neighbor had everything she needed. The food doesnt seem to change across all locations insofar as quality and quantity so basically, delicious. The restaurant was clean and organized and front of house manager Emily did a fantastic job stopping by to check on us and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy this visit as well so my elderly neighbor definitely had a wonderful dining experience!

Troy Corn First time at Chill. My wife and I came here to try something new, and we will be coming back. This is a great spot to watch sports, and hang on the patio in good weather. We had happy hour drinks, and ordered fried pickles. Yummy! Then we had the Thursday special, chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Oh so yummy! And shout out to Leo and Miguel, both fun and friendly. I highly recommend this location.

Andrew Roberts This was a very good place. It was recommended to me and did not disappoint. I hade the pina maya. Pineapple stuffed with shrimp and veggies. It was very good. We did not get any tortilla’s with it, I didn’t mind too much as I didn’t really want any but I think they are supposed to come with some. Not a big deal though. The margarita was pretty good. I got the frozen. Great place to eat and have a drink.
