Mei’s Foodie Hub - Andrews

Rating: 4.8 /5
Luis Cuellar Stopped in with my very pregnant eldest daughter for a late lunch. The restaurant just opened and the first thing we noticed is the visually appealing atmosphere inside. Very unassuming from the outside, so it was quite a pleasant surprise. The server was incredibly welcoming and catered to my daughter, which was very nice. We had the fried gyoza and spicy dumpling soup to start. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. For the entrees she had a spicy ramen and I had the combination fried lo mein. Both dishes were excellent and unlike anything we had in this area. The service was fantastic as well as the food! Very happy we stopped in and Ill definitely be returning anytime passing through Andrews!

Tinies - Fort Worth

Rating: 4.2 /5
Nakaiya Walters I came across this spot thanks to Fort Worth Lovelist and the rooftop aesthetic had me curious…and it did not disappoint. The rooftop view is absolutely top-tier — you get that full Fort Worth skyline moment, and it really sets the tone for the evening. The overall vibe is giving “grown, polished, and outside” — perfect for a date night or a cute girls night out. It’s sexy without trying too hard. Now let’s talk about this food. They describe the menu as authentic Mexican cuisine inspired by Mexico City, which was a refreshing shift from the usual Tex-Mex we’re used to in Texas. The Trio of Guacamole was actually fun to try — the bacon jam topped one was my favorite hands down. The shrimp and pickled onion one didn’t hit as strong in flavor as I expected, but I’d still order it again. The Basket of Hand-Made Empanadas... Listen. They had birria inside. I was not expecting to be that impressed — but I was. So good. And the Crispy Octopus was a nice change from the typical calamari situation most places do. Definitely worth trying if you like branching out a bit. I’ll definitely be back — and if you haven’t been yet, go ahead and put it on your list. Go sooner rather than later.

Castaways Bar & Grill - Pittsburg

Rating: 4.9 /5
Carla Radcliffe Castaways is the new gem in Pittsburg, TX. Being gluten free I asked them if they could put salads on their new menu and they DID…and let me say it’s delicious. I have had it twice now once with grilled shrimp the other with grilled chicken and they did not disappoint. And not to mention our server Stephanie (on a packed night) was amazing!!! Great job!!

Whataburger - Gonzales

Rating: 2.5 /5
Meighan Arnold I stopped by the Whataburger in Gonzales and was excited to check out the new location. The staff was friendly and the burgers came out hot and made-to-order. The fresh taste lived up to what I expect from Whataburger, and the updated layout seems promising.

Cielos Restaurant & Bar - Paris

Rating: 4.2 /5
DatCamp G We visited Cielos on a Saturday at 3:00 PM. Upon entering, the hostess, who was very polite, immediately asked if we preferred a booth or a table, and then guided us to a lovely window table. Our waiter, John, greeted us promptly. He was attentive and very polite, serving our every need and checking on us frequently throughout our meal. Our party ordered a variety of dishes: chicken fried steak, beef, sausage and pepperoni pizza. Cielos has a unique, visible rock pizza oven with a copper top in the kitchen. I personally enjoyed a caesar salad with added salmon. Every dish was pleasant to the eye and tasted wonderful. We were also impressed with the portion sizes, which were quite generous for the price. Overall, the experience was wonderful. Cielos is an upscale, unique, and luxurious restaurant. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and the entire visit. I would highly recommend Cielos to all my family and friends.   11/8/25
