Grimaldis Pizzeria - (Near Allen, TX)

5 /5 Sarah Alexander: If I I could give this place 100 stars, I would! I used to live in McKinney, TX and would frequent Grimaldis in the Watters Creek complex fairly regularly. Since moving out-of-state, I dream of returning to this restaurant fairly often. Their hot honey pizza is the best I have ever tasted, and leaves you salivating for another bite. The lemon salad is extremely refreshing. The decor really leaves you feeling as if you are in an old-style pizzeria. Im counting down the days until I can return to Allen, Texas to this location, specifically. Their Plano location is a great secondary option, but definitely not as great as this one! Overall Rating: Food: 5.0 (in my opinion a minimum of 10 stars) Service: 5.0 Atmosphere: 4.75 (it was noisy the last time I went in, but still amazing vibes)

5 /5 Steve K.: If you want fresh, no frills, flavorful top notch Pizza, say less and scoot yourself into Grimaldis! Thin crust pizzas allow you to taste and appreciate the freshly sourced toppings and not to mention the smoke, from the wood fire oven. Did I mention about the sauce? Easily the best tasting pizza sauce ever for a chain pizzeria, you can drink the stuff! And its not wonder they sell it by the jar, its that good!

4 /5 M Chu: Lunch with my brother and my youngest son. Showed up around 1 pm and had no issues getting a table. Paris was our server and did a solid job ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable. We started with the Caprese ($12) for appetizer. Standard and nothing extraordinary. Then we had a Large House Salad ($12) with the Grimaldi’s house vinaigrette. Good but nothing “Wow!”. For the main entree, we split The Don 18” ($31) which was just right. The crust was crispy and flavors robust. Slight adjustment to the sauce would’ve made it perfect. It was more watery/thin than a thick consistency. The toppings of meat upon meat and then more meat was what we were looking for. We also ordered a Margherita 12” ($17) for mom and my other brother to go. All-in with tip was roughly $90. Inflation needs to cool off!
