Steve K. Always wanted to check out Portillos and Im glad I did! The interior is very reminiscent of Razzoos Cajun Cafe and Cracker Barrel, lots of nick knacks for decorations and the ceiling beaming with more decorations thats unique to the atmosphere. I think Portillos is known for their hot dogs but I tried their loaded cheeseburger meal and was taken aback by how fresh and delicious it was! Portillos fries are one of the best fries Ive had, in my opinion. Theyre crinkly fries, crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. Salted to perfection and goes down with a Dr. Pepper from their beverage dispenser. If you plan to dine in on a warm day, you might want to bring along a sweater. Its frigid in the dining hall - I love it!

Jana Winberg We opted to try a new spot, and not a chain. It is an older building but clean. The food was good. The Mojo de Ajo (garlic butter grilled fish and shrimp) was delicious. The 2 chicken and 1 cheese enchiladas were OK. Spanish is the language there, with the tv playing a news station in Spanish. They close fairly early.

Christine Vu This place is awesome. Karen was extremely welcoming as soon as I stepped foot inside. She had some amazing recommendations and let me know that everything is made IN HOUSE and that they had breakfast AND lunch specials. I ended up ordering the seafood platter which comes with so much food and was perfectly seasoned. Service and food amazing. 10/5 would come again!

C E This Chinese spot has amazing food! Family run restaurant in the small, beautiful town of Jacksboro. The Wonton soup was favorite granted it was a cold winter day and soup was much deserved. The orange chicken was not overly sweet which is excellent and the Beef with Mushroom was another one of my favorites. I ordered takeout so I did not see the inside of the restaurant but I will definitely be returning. Overall 5 stars for food and quality.

Jaime Aron Just finished our first visit to Slap N Good BBQ - and well definitely be back for more. The food looked so good that we wanted some of everything - and they had a combo platter with exactly that! The only problems were deciding which was the favorite and figuring out when were going to have the leftovers. Ribs, chopped beef and jalapeno sausage were the standouts. Twice-baked potatoes were terrific too (especially with a smidge of bbq sauce). Service was wonderful and super friendly. A must-visit if youre in the area.
