4 /5 Kenneth Hampton: I tried a variety of items, starting with the Cajun fries and fried pickles. The fries were the highlight—topped with BBQ sauce, cheese, jalapeños, and chopped brisket. While the brisket was a bit on the fatty side, the overall flavor was delicious. The fried pickles were also excellent, featuring a perfectly seasoned batter.
For the main course, I had the fish and shrimp. Unfortunately, this was just okay; the fish fillets were quite small and lacked flavour. However, the sides were a standout—both the coleslaw and hushpuppies were great. In the future, I’d likely skip the fried fish unless I paired it with a side of etouffée to give it a boost.
