3 /5 Brittany R.: Im a little disappointed in my Stephans sandwich. It was just okay. The bun was soft and flavorful and the sausage and brisket were good but the pork was so dry and there wasnt enough sauce to help it. Also dont even bother putting coleslaw on the sandwich if youre only going to give me a tablespoon of it. Couldnt even tell if it was good or not becuz it got lost in the sandwich.

5 /5 Justin: We stopped at Happy Trails Barbecue while passing through Palestine, TX and were impressed! The moist brisket was outstanding, ribs were a hit with the kids, and the sausages were flavorful but not too spicy. Pulled pork was solid, and the sauce tied it all together. Clean, rustic vibe and great prices—especially for prime brisket. Worth the stop!

5 /5 Steve Boyer: Really clean place and servers clean and neat. They got 2 tvs with sports on. Food great. I really love their peach cobbler,it was made in bread pudding, not dough crust. They dont have cornbread. Air conditioning was really nice .

4 /5 Juan Vega: Nice place. Solid BBQ. Great service. Might have been an old LJS but now it’s a clean, family run bbq restaurant. I’m glad I stopped here on my way through Palestine. Well worth the time. I enjoyed it.
