But the real surprise was the rice: hands down the best I’ve had. The texture was spot on, and the toppings elevated it even more. Definitely a standout

5 /5 Billy Roberts: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 8/9/2025 Union Hall in Waco is a great spot with tons of food options—from gelato to chicken wings, sushi, and more. We chose to eat at Huaco Eatery (as shown in the pictures), and I have to say, the presentation of our meals was beautiful. The plates looked amazing and clearly had effort put into them. The food itself was good—not quite as bold in flavor as it looked, but still enjoyable. The only issue I had wasn’t with Huaco Eatery but with the Union Hall building staff. As we were standing up and saying goodbye to our friends, a staff member came over and told us to take our trash to the bin. We already intended to, and we were literally still getting out of our chairs. I told her respectfully that she should give us a moment before assuming we were going to leave anything behind. It just came off as a bit rude. That said, I won’t fault Huaco Eatery for that. They did an excellent job with presentation, and the food was fresh and well-prepared. Union Hall is still a nice place to come and eat, especially if you enjoy having lots of choices under one roof. I’d come back and try other spots here too.

5 /5 Frozen Kiwi: Eating at Huaco eatery was my #1 best eating experience in Waco! While looking at the menu, the owner offered a sample of the chips & queso, & I immediately chose to eat here. The chips are house made & not overly salted. I chose a build your own chicken bowl, & it was absolutely delicious! The strawberry on top really added a unique depth of flavor that I was not expecting. You can tell the owner is passionate and loves serving only the best to his customers! Go check this place out! You’ll be glad you did!

5 /5 Reagan Blankinship: We walked into Union Hall looking for something good and boy did this restaurant knock it out of the park!! Great staff, great service, beautiful presentation of the food and tasted even better. The man behind the counter was very passionate in the work he put into the plates and even shared a little of his backstory of his culture and how he learned to cook. He provided free bowls and samples to try the food, even made the samples look beautiful and appealing. The food was priced so cheaply. What he laid it in front of me, I would have happily paid more and definitely looked like a $25+ meal rather than $13. Everything on the menu is presented beautifully and too good looking to eat. Thank you for providing top tier food at a fantastic price, I can’t explain what a gem we found at Union Hall, will definitely be coming back!
