Ann Evans Absolutely phenomenal! The #5 Bacon & Cheese Whataburger is Texas perfection on a bun. Every time I crave that classic Whataburger magic, the #5 hits the spot like nothing else. That juicy 100% beef patty paired with crispy hardwood-smoked bacon and perfectly melted American cheese is pure bliss. The fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickles add the ideal crunch, and the toasted five-inch bun holds it all together without falling apart. Made fresh to order, hot, and customizable (not a fan of onions)—its consistently delicious. Paired with their fries and a Dr Pepper? Unbeatable Texas fast food. Whataburger never misses, but the Bacon & Cheese is next-level comfort food. Worth every bite—Ill be back for this one again and again!

Zainab Jamil What a great find! I highly recommend this place. The owner cooks up fresh food, homely ambiance and great service. I have had one of the best cheese burgers here. There is another amazing dish with mince and chili. So good!

Mary Behringer Italian Cafe was an absolute hit- I had family from New York staying with me and they absolutely agreed. I called ahead to reserve a table for 9 at 5:00pm on a Friday and the host was so accommodating, he swiftly added us in, even though I called only 3 hours ahead. The restaurant has a charming, old school aesthetic with wooden accents throughout and these gorgeous table cloths. There is an outdoor, sealed in patio with TVs to watch sports, which is where we sat. Our server was incredibly attentive and accommodating, we were never without anything we needed. Now: onto the food. It’s amazing. We loved we tried everything we tried. The greek salad was beautiful and full of fresh produce. The tortellini in broth was rich with incredibly tender pasta. The chicken stromboli was crisp and well seasoned, with an acidic tomato sauce to go with. Overall, this was a fantastic spot for a family meal. It’s very close to the University of Dallas and would be a great place to meet up if you go there. I can’t wait to come back in the future.

Kendra Williams Portillo’s in Richmond is a gem for comfort food lovers! We ordered a little bit of everything to get the full experience, and it did not disappoint. The burgers were juicy with just the right amount of char on the patty, layered with fresh toppings and a soft, toasted bun that held up beautifully. The fries were golden, crispy on the outside yet fluffy inside—the perfect sidekick. We also tried one of their signature hot dogs, and it was spot-on: a snap with every bite, topped with all the classic fixings in true Chicago style. And then, the star of the meal—their famous chocolate cake. Moist, rich, and decadently frosted, it’s the kind of dessert you’ll still be thinking about days later. The atmosphere is casual but lively, and the staff made us feel right at home. Every plate that came out looked just as good as ours, which tells me consistency is a big deal here. We’re already planning our next visit—this is going to be a regular stop for us!
