The Dough Joe - Bandera - Bandera

F_Starr73 I have passed this place many times and it never really interested me. Coffee and pizza? Lol. BUT, WOW!!!! Today, I decided to try it. My mother wanted pizza and it was open.
. I was so SURPRISED walking in.. The young lady at the register said an authentic,”Hello”(with a smile! For real. She offered me a menu and let me take it outside to show my mom, so I came back in and placed the order. I ordered a Large Supreme, the pizza was the exact price from the menu, the place smelled delicious and was so clean. When I got home and opened that box; it really was beautiful, all meats and veggies were spaced perfectly and the BEST part of all was the TASTE
OMG!!!! It was better than this pizza I had eaten in an upstate pizza place. Absolutely the most delicious pizza I have had in years!!! I will definitely be back. I am going to share picks because even the box has a cute little perforation for someone to take a picture with. I haven’t been this impressed by a place in quite some time. If ever in Bandera, TX on Main Street; give this place a try. If I could rate a 10, I would. So 5 stars easy!!!! WOW!!!!!Update!!!!Back in Bandera, TX and I had to stop at what now is my favorite place. Added more pics also. God Bless

Kevin Frye Stopped on a whim traveling from out of town. I come from Kansas City where KCK is known for amazing Mexican food. The place was spotless, the girls were friendly and the food was good.

Horny Toad Bar & Grill - Cranfills Gap

JOE THOMAS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down, The Horny Toad is one of the best hidden gems in all of Central Texas! We took the scenic backroads drive out to Cranfills Gap (which is half the fun—beautiful Hill Country views!), and this place absolutely delivered. The burgers? Absolutely legendary. We got the classic cheeseburger on the special “Toad bun” — juicy, perfectly seasoned, with just the right toppings. I also tried the B-witch (loaded with bacon, jalapeños, grilled onions
wow), and it lived up to every bit of the hype. People weren’t kidding when they say it’s worth driving 50+ miles for! The onion rings were crispy perfection and disappeared in minutes. The atmosphere is pure old-school Texas magic—rustic metal building, neon beer signs, barn wood, license plates on the walls, and that welcoming honky-tonk/biker-bar feel. Friendly staff treated us like family, the service was quick and spot-on, and the cold beer hit the spot perfectly. It’s not fancy, and that’s exactly why it’s awesome. This is real-deal, no-pretenses Texas at its best—great food, great people, and a vibe you just can’t find in the city. If you’re anywhere near Waco, Clifton, or cruising the backroads, do yourself a favor and make the trip to The Horny Toad. You won’t regret it. We’ll be back every time we’re in the area!

Honest Reviewer I went in for lunch and the service was fine, the only issue I had was with the portion of food I received. I got the spicy grilled cheese nacho fries and I received the bare minimum amount of fries on that plate as you can see in my picture. They tasted good but just not enough of them.
