Imperial Chinese & Sushi - (Near Bryan, TX)

Laurel Shoger-Hall We decided to grab brunch here while visiting the convention center. We wanted to eat every meal here if we could! We got to chat with one of the owners as he was serving us. He is from Mexico and his family has worked hard to bring authentic Mexican dishes to the Irving area. The salsa was served warm which was such a treat! The chips are hearty but so delicate. They made for a perfect Chilaquiles! We also loved the richness of their French toast. Whether you’re local or just visiting you need to check out this Mon and pop gem!

Scarlett1960 UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW: Management extended an invitation for me to return to the restaurant, which I did. I had a COMPLETELY different experience. I was greeted promptly and placed my order. The service was exceptional, the employees were friendly and attentive and the food was superb. THANK YOU for making this a great experience. We will visit again. ORIGINAL REVIEW Went into restaurant to place a takeout order (baked potato stuffed with brisket). I had to wait a couple of minutes for someone to show up at the hostess stand. When the employee finally came to the counter and I told her that I wanted to order the potato, she responded "I think we are out of potatoes." This was around 6:00 pm. I will not return to this restaurant.

Marvin Magana Bartender said this was the place for the best fajitas in town. I havent tried anywhere else but I took his word for it and was not disappointed. I came on two occasions the week I stayed here and the staff was overall friendly and attentive. Warning about the burgers, dont let your eyes order the two patties if your stomach cant handle it. I ended up taking half of this monster burger back with me. It was really good but really big. Overall great food and great environment of people.

Garcia Miriam (Miss Miriam) 1st time here. We were greeted upon entrance. No wait to be seated. I had been wanting to come for months but my husband isnt a fan of pho aromas or the thin noodle texture. I personally was probably Vietnamese in another life. I can have Pho every day. I ordered the Steak Pho with a side of tendon. Husband ordered the Spicy Soup and he liked it a lot. He specially liked that noodles were much thicker and the broth flavored differently than Pho. My Pho bowl was great. 2 things that could be even better for us would be 1) spicier chili oil and 2) hotter and steamier broth. We love hot both flavorwise and temperature wise. Pricing is comparable to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. They have beer which was a super plus for my husband. A lot of appetizer and other dish options, also a plus in my husbands case. Husband mentioned it would be nicer if it was more dim indoors and windows had blinds. I dont mind the brightness but do love intimate and dim places. Highly recommend for someone that wants to have a lot of Vietnamese options or someone who may not be ready to go to an only Pho restaurant

TwiZtiDTeXas Great food. Your not gonna leave hungry. Great service. Cat fish sandwich had 3 big pieces and loaded with fries. Our friend ordered a single burger and it was huge, I hate to see the double! My buddy got the large catfish dinner there was at least 7 pieces of catfish. Definitely coming back here when we come back to sam rayburn.
