Hallie McCulloch This is an absolute HIDDEN GEM. The food and service were top tier and the atmosphere was relaxed but just fancy enough. The blue fin tuna in the sashimi was AMAZING and the lychee martini was the best cocktail I’ve had in a long time.

Paul Mendoza What can I tell you about the food that I ate other than it was worth the wait. I was waiting for a bit but I am a patient person. I understand that customers are being attended to. Its not that loud and I saw a lot of happy customers. The menu isnt complex, you can see the name and description well. Overall I had a wonderful experience and I would come back. Payment will be cash or credit card. When I paid the waiter gave me this little device and I paid it from there. I was able to pay before I finished my food which is my personal preference.

rajiv Arora Alejandro was our server at Escalante’s, and he’s the reason our very first visit turned us into fans of this place. In fact, we all decided on the spot that we’d be coming back—and doing that repeatedly. This is a perfect example of how much service can elevate a business. Alejandro’s positive energy, body language, and attitude were exceptional from start to finish. He made the guacamole fresh at our table, recommended the best Mexican beer, and kept the hot chips coming without us ever having to ask. I can honestly say the guac he made was the best I’ve had in Houston. People like Alejandro make a place shine. He represents the brand beautifully, and the management should know how much value he brings. God bless him—go man, the sky is the limit. We’ll definitely be back, and the picture we took together says it all

Trisha Haddock We were passing through and stopped to eat here. The food was absolutely delicious. The servers were amazing so friendly. Our only complaint was a table was giving the servers a hard time. They were arguing and our attention was pulled away from our plates to see what was going on. The restaurant was so inviting. I highly recommend the Chicken Picatta and Italian Cream cake.

wayne sprinkles First time trying the backyard and we came in on a Saturday for brunch. The breakfast bowls were good size and delicious. They have a really good country gravy and everything was well seasoned. We will definitely be back.

Ken & Heather Smith The pizza and macaroni bites were delicious. The atmosphere is nice, especially the outdoor patio that overlooks the lake and park. Very relaxing. They do have a bar but its cut off from the rest of the restaurant so you dont have to worry about shenanigans.
