1 /5 FP: **Edit, in response to the owners response** **Katharine, the owner and sole proprietor of this establishment, was given many opportunities to offer a refund during the first conversation on the phone, but never did so. The only thing that was short was their response which was “no” multiple times when asked for said refund. It’s sad that the only reason they’re offering it in the first place, in response to this review, is so they can save face. And even sadder that they felt the need to make up lies. That just shows the lack of integrity. I’d also like to add that we had no problem coming back in and buying something else, without a refund. We truly were fans of the food. The main thing that deeply disturbed us was the terrible customer service from, what I’m assuming was the owner.** The woman I spoke to on the phone had terrible customer service and a nasty attitude! I’ve been pesceterian for 10 plus years and ordered a fish dish, that had no description of it having any sort of meat whatsoever. I took a bite and noticed there were chunks of meat in the sauce that the fish was topped with. The woman I spoke with on the phone had a heinous attitude and said I wouldn’t be comped and to “give the food to someone else” in a smug tone, since I wasn’t able to eat it. She also said that it’s stated that there is Tasso sausage, but in the description of the menu it says Tasso sauce. How was I supposed to know that this is actually a red meat dish? Never coming back here again. What a despicable and unprofessional establishment.

5 /5 HazelDuhon Griggs: We are in town visiting family and my husband insisted to go to this place because this is one of his favorite place to eat. It was my first time but I quickly learn why he likes it so much. Their food was so delicious. Well seasoned and so fresh tasting. The ambiance of the restaurant is so relaxing and staff were really friendly.

1 /5 A. P.: UPDATE 11/17/2025: I asked for a refund TWICE during our initial phone call and whoever I spoke with said they are unable to do that. To respond to my review and lie is insane. The owner or whoever could’ve easily called back and offered a refund but never did. I am disgusted with the service I received, from who I assume is the owner, when I recently called in. I ordered food for my family and I –thinking the meal was OK for a pescatarian to eat. The meal mentioned “Tasso sauce” but I assumed the meal didn’t contain any red meat otherwise it would’ve been specified in the menu. Once I got home and opened the meal, my family & I gave the restaurant a call and I asked if I should return it since I was unaware there was red meat in the dish. I was put on hold then someone answers rudely, with no introduction, saying “can I help you?” twice. I assumed I was talking to the person that answered the call initially and reiterated what was initially said. This person continues to say that it’s against health code to return the food, which I completely understand. I asked if there is anything that can be done since I didn’t know that the meal contained red meat. She then goes “does it not say Tasso on the menu? Tasso means sausage!” I expressed my concerns regarding the food being wasted & this hostile woman goes “well you could give it away”. I was so confused that someone working at a restaurant could have such a horrendous attitude to a repeat customer. I don’t know how this establishment has been open for years. I will not be returning and recommend you not to go. Katharine, if I spoke to you on the phone, you are a sorry excuse of a business owner and need to take classes in customer service.

5 /5 Zorida Puente: One of my favorite local places to eat. The staff are friendly, building is beautiful and clean. Definitely a gem. The food is really good and decently priced.
