Krootz Brewing Company - (Near Gainesville, TX)

Michelle Peacock I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic Japanese restaurant. The interior decor was upscale, warm, and welcoming. The cucumber roll was delicious without cream cheese. My server had them modify the order. He returned with a big serving of ginger and Wasabi. The vegetable tempura was excellent. The batter was light and crunchy. It came with 2 slices of sweet potatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, and broccoli. They make everything from scratch. The dipping sauce was delicious. Kudos Chef. Great service. It started getting busy closer to dinner time.

Brittany Brinson It was sooo GOOD! Everything! From the salsa and queso to our waiter Tony to the main dishes, it was exceptional and look forward to coming back when we are in town again! We were also surprised with sorbet after our meal☺️

Amanda nieto I celebrated my birthday here last weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. I made a reservation for a party of 8 beforehand and was immediately seated on arrival. Jeff was our server and I can honestly say he was the sweetest and most knowledgeable server I have ever had. We ordered everything he recommended from tasty drinks to fun appetizers. The food itself was excellent and we ordered a variety of foods, there is something on the menu everyone in your party will enjoy. The drinks were beautifully crafted and the vibes were immaculate. They even had live music towards the end of the evening.

Rose Marie Food and price were the best. Waitress was amazing. Very friendly and always checked in. Refilled drinks as well. Alcohol drinks were really good and food was good as well.

Joseph Nolasco Like to come here to eat on my days off to unwind and dine. There’s something for almost every mood of craving you’re into. From breakfast, lunch and dinner you can’t go wrong. We use to start with the chips and queso to start, but once we had the beef nachos that’s our number 1 appetizer! I like the omelettes the eggs are so nice and fluffy, just lacks some salt and pepper. That can always be adjusted to my liking at the table. Our latest visit we got the beef nachos as the starter and I got the el jefe steak I believe it’s called, everything came out hot and flavorful. My sister got the brisket quesadilla which was great as well.Paired it with an ice cold Coke Zero! The service here is one of the best in town!

NateMFJ This was our first restaurant visit since moving to Lufkin, so we were excited to try something new. We walked in during a busy breakfast rush, but there were still plenty of open tables. Once we reached the front of the line, the young lady behind the counter greeted us right away, took our order, and handed us our cups. The drink station was clean and stocked with a good selection. We grabbed a table—both the tables and floors were clean—and within about 10 minutes our food arrived. I ordered the French Toast Combo, which came with four slices of French toast, two eggs, sausage, and seasoned potatoes. The meal came out on two plates, and everything was spot on. The French toast had a perfect light crunch on the outside while staying pillowy soft inside. The scrambled eggs and sausage were solid, and the seasoned potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft inside. My wife ordered the Breakfast BLT—bacon, lettuce, tomato, fried egg, and Duke’s mayo. She added a little hot sauce and absolutely loved it. Not a crumb left! She liked it so much that we also picked up a tub of their chicken salad to take home, and it was delicious later that day—no complaints at all. We’ll definitely be back to Roost to try more of their menu!
