Jennifer Sheppard This was our first time at First Watch, which by the way is such a clever name. Love it! Our server, Luz, was so precious. She immediately without asking offered her suggestions and raved about the dishes. They were excellent, if you were wondering. We got the holiday specials; Double Bacon Parmesan Hash, Carne Asada Breakfast Tacos and the Cheesecake Holey Donuts w/Nutella. Everything had such complex flavors that blended so well. After his first bite, my husband said, “What am I eating? This doesn’t make sense.” Luz, great suggestions! This place is not a one hit wonder. Keep it up First Watch!

Michael Jacobs Best hidden gem stone in Midland. Food is amazing and so is the price. Customer service is on point. Much better than Rays and you can even get cocktails instead of having to bring it. Everyone check them out.

Dawn Simosky Food was great. My first time there since moving to the area. I will definitely go back. Chips were warm, frozen margaritas were awesome, food was great.

Jeffrey Kane I cant say enough great about this place. Its a unique experience; you should go in ready to relax and engage with your dining companions and the cuisine. Ah, the food. Oh my. SO great. The bread. GET THE BREAD. Truly glorious, airy, perfect amount of crusty, warm, and perfect with a swipe of butter. No picture because we demolished it before i could take a photo. The oysters in Marsala sauce was otherworldly. Phenomenal Marsala sauce in a risotto filled with delicious grilled oysters. Not a combo I ever would have expected but one Ill go back for again and again. The creamy chicken in cobijas was my choice and I loved it. Cobijas is apparently a cheese? These were, overly simplified, chicken enchiladas with black beans and rice. The plate is a symphony of skinless seared/grilled chicken that has a delicious slight crunch to it, wrapped in homemade corn tortillas and surrounded by white cheese and what tasted like a green creamy tomatillo sauce. Whatever it is? It was delectable. Everyone loved their apps and entrees. Service was relaxed, extremely warm, and friendly. Just go, you wont regret a thing.

K Williams Lupes is amazing! Their vast menu of food choices comes out hot and made fresh to order. I went at lunchtime when the restaurant was very busy, but we were seated in no time. We were greeted by our server with fresh chips and salsa as she took our drink order. I ordered my favorite, the stuffed/fried avocado. It comes with your choice of meat and cheese stuffed inside an avocado, breaded and fried. So yummy!! The wait time for our main dishes to return was reasonable, and still allowed time to eat and return to work on a lunch hour. All (8) orders came out exactly as we ordered and our friendly server was attentive to the refills of drinks and anything else we needed. I dont live in Vernon but Lupes is always my go-to when I visit there. Ill definitely be back!

Adel B. 1- food is decent compared to the original location, although the sandwich needs to be packaged in a bigger box, it was squeezed into the box. Also, the cheesy fries need more cheese unless just like any regular waffle fries (just my opinion). 2- customer service was good but can be better. The guys have a good attitude with me as a new customer in this location. They messed up my order for the first time by giving me the cheesey bun instead of the coleslaw, I went back and fixed it up to me by giving me a new order. 3- the chicken had a weird taste, not sure if its the species or the oil. Overall rate; 3.5/5. I still recommend clutch city over the other fried chicken restaurants down the street. January 2025: great option, great customer service and still recommend it.
