Darrin Campbell Dropped in for lunch and had great service and the food was pretty good too! Salsa was a bit watery, but tasteful. Chips were good and hot. The sopapilla dish was a bit heavy on the breading, but lots of meat and toppings. The chile relleno dish was really good, it outshined the enchilada served with it. The taco was good and the guacamole tostada was really good too. Overall, would recommend!

Fact Speaker Does everything what you expect from a well-run bar. Satisfactory & attentive customer service that is quick to serve, tasty cocktail options plus food, & and an immersive atmosphere. This place is regularly full even on weekdays, but despite that it’s not too noisy and you can easily have a conversation. Bartenders display excellent customer service and do not take too long to fulfill your orders. Cocktail options range from excellent craftsmanship of staples to a unique in-house spins of regular cocktail recipes. Unfortunately, they do close fairly early on the non-weekend days compared to other bars. Despite that, it’s a great place to have a drink.

Priscilla A. Kinkle My daughter treated me to lunch at Alpine Haus Restaurant in New Braunfels, Texas. She has dined here many times with friends. Our meals were outstanding! I had the grilled chicken salad, my daughter had the Schnitzel Sandwich lunch special. The mushroom soup and marbled rye bread was delicious! I asked for a second basket of the rye bread! The service was quick and excellent. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant and we will be returning!

Patrick Bird Love dining here whenever we visit Brownsville. They have lots of home style choices at very reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly.
