James Coyer What a fantastic truck strop this is here! I needed to get an HOS restart and found this place at the last minute. And Im so glad I did - what a real gem! First, the lot is clean and quiet. I slept comfortably without any disturbance and you can tell the place isnt more than a few years old - I believe the young lady at the counter yesterday told me 4 years. The grounds are smooth and kept clean. Second, the food is amazing! I had the chicken tenders with waffle fries for lunch and then a burger with onion rings for dinner. I was introduced to white gravy as a dipping sauce for the chicken tenders. YUMMY! I had never tried that before, but Im a big fan now. I highly recommend ordering food if you stop here. But they are closed on Sunday so keep that in mind. Finally, the crew/employees were SO FRIENDLY! Why cant people around the country model their attitudes around the awesome staff here at this truck stop?! I was greeted when I walked through the door yesterday. The two young ladies that handled my food order were cheerful and full of smiles. The young man behind the counter today was so kind and helpful. When I discovered the restaurant was closed (today is Sunday), he mentioned other items in the store coolers that might satisfy my hunger and even suggested a hot sauce for my Chicken Caesar Wrap to give it an incredible kick. I mean, this place is just amazing - a true testament to the kind of positive leadership both within this business and within the local community. I live on the other side of the country, but you can be darn sure Im going to mention this place when people ask about my experiences over the road. Great job Corner Store Travel Center! Keep up the amazing work!
