Trail Boss Steak & Grill - Kerrville

Rating: 4.2 /5
Brandon Robinson This is probably one of the best restaurant options Kerrville has to offer. Its head and shoulders above 5D. The steak had a great sear and flavoring. The rice pilaf was so-so, kind of bland and dry. The Mac and Cheese was great and so was the loaded baked potato. I am disappointed there werent more steak options, you have one page of steaks and three pages of the other food but its supposed to be a steakhouse. I would have loved a prime rib, porterhouse, or even a t-bone. They offer a sirloin, NY strip, a ribeye, and filet mignon. Our waitress was 5 stars all day long. If youre the owner reading this, its the taller lady with the cool centipede tattoo.

Zio Als Pizza & Pasta - Signature Allen - Allen

Rating: 4.7 /5
randomzbob Zio’s Al Pizza is hands down one of those spots you don’t forget after your first bite. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside but still soft inside, the sauce actually tastes fresh (not that bland canned stuff), and the cheese pull is insane. You can tell they care about quality because everything tastes made with effort, not rushed. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the vibe inside makes you wanna come back even when you’re not starving. Easily one of the best pizza spots around — once you try it, it lowkey ruins other pizza for you.

Famale Restaurant - Galveston

Rating: 5 /5
Mark Ruiz Great experience here. Service was top notch, food was overall pretty great. There were only 2 things I didnt 100% enjoy: 1- my chorizo tamale, which was a bit dry and not very flavorful (but the masa was excellent and all the other flavors we tried we great) 2- there is not a ton of seating inside, and the tables were a little small for our group of 6 (they are long enough to seat 6, but rather narrow). Theyre also pretty close together. Wasnt a problem while we were there cause it was fairly empty, but I could see it being trouble during busier times or with a large group. We tried beef, pork, bean & cheese, and rajas & cheese, which were all tasty. The chips & verde salsa served as an appetizer were SO good. I also thoroughly enjoyed the charro beans, I ate my whole bowl and Im not really even a big fan of beans. The rice was solid also, a good accompaniment, but not the star of the show. The 2 bites of sopes I snagged off my friends plate were very satisfying, and Im told the flounder tacos and gorditas were also great. Will definitely be coming back here for more tamales and lunch specials!
