4 /5 Tate Vinson: Los Compadres Street Tacos 02-08-25 Always like to try new places. I have never eaten at a food truck so I thought I’d give it a try. This was my first time at a food truck and it was an awesome experience. This food truck is located at the Water Park. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The service was good as was the food. There are picnic tables to eat at this location. We tried two different tacos here. Street Taco Suadero with diced onion and cilantro. Meat was flavorful and tender Street Taco Birria, with diced onion and cilantro. Flavorful and tender meat.

5 /5 Señor Sanchez: I am glad they started taking credit card payments. This little spot has great tacos. The four taco plate with beans is my personal favorite. I’ve had most of their meats and carnitas/pastor are the best for me.

We enjoyed incredible homemade food and wonderful memories there, but some of my best experiences were in the local plazas, savoring authentic Mexican street tacos. Those memories set a high bar for every street taco I try. Well, I can confidently say that these tacos at "Los Compadres" are THE BEST street tacos I’ve had on this side of the U.S. border. Every elelemenfrom the tortillas (corn) to the perfectly seasoned fillings (several options) and the vibrant salsas—is spot on. This truck truly captures the essence of a great street taco experience. If you find yourself in the Belton area, do yourself a favor and stop here. I drive 40 minutes for these, and theyre worth every mile. I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves it. I can speak for the Asuadero Tacos (traditional cubed fajita meat). Please be aware, they have a unique cut for the Asuadero (not really cubed), however, its DELISH; and their charro beans are also very good. 5 /5 Shelly: Best tacos in town! Dont waste your time anywhere else. Everything is fresh and delicious. The salsa verde is BOMB.COM and so is everything else. Ive been in the area for 8 years and havent had mexican food this good. This is my new taco spot fr ima be coming here all the time now. Shout out to the people working there and thank you for DELICIOUS tacos!!
