3 /5 Covert Shopper with Reviews: Kudos to my server, Miguel. He served the whole half of the restaurant alone! It was impressive watching him.
Now, lets get to it. I dined at 2:00 p.m. The food is Tex Mex, so was the Salsa with chips. The Ranchero beans were authentic and delicious. The beef steak tacos were too, however, the beef was overcooked, the raw onions were very strong with a bite, and the tortillas for the tacos tasted raw, but dipped in grease, heated, and sopping wet. They could have been cooked more. I asked for a spicier salsa and the green salsa was fabulous! The pork tamale tasted like the wrapped tamales in a can that they unwrapped, heated, drowned in brown chili sauce topped with yellow shredded cheese. They were disgusting. The chicken enchilada, while Tex Mex, was descent. The chicken had bits of tomato and red juice drowned in white queso.
For dessert, I tried the Xango deep fried cheesecake filled burrito topped with cinnamon and sugar, AND some caramel and chocolate drizzle. It was very pleasing to the eye, warm, and it was actually delicious.
In conclusion, if I had to eat this meal again, I would only eat the Ranchero beans, chicken enchila with green salsa, and dessert. Of course, I would ask for Miguel, but I dont think I want to give this restaurant another chance.
