Helen Townsend I get the taco plate either barbacoa or Iberia. My husband likes the gorditas plate. Both come with beans & rice plus salsa. They dont fix them till you place your order so it is fresh. I recommend this place for food to go.

Claire Quilaton The moment I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by Tay! He was very kind and gave me suggestions for their soft opening menu. The oxtail gravy and the texture of rice & beans were great! My dad got their fried chicken and plantains and you can smell the spices in the batter once you open the box. The Mac and cheese has a nice cook on the noodles with a good tangy taste. I will be coming back to try their curry chicken and stewed chicken. The cabbage wasn’t that bee cooked or undercooked. One of the chefs came out and greeted me with a smile with my food! She was very sweet:) Enjoy this new business opening up in the neighborhood :)

Traveling Sense Fabulous tacos with delicious rice and beans. Taco plate included four generous tacos on corn tortillas (great gluten free option). I chose two Al Pastor and two beef cooked with cabbage. Both were great but the beef with cabbage was my favorite. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Fresh. Served piping hot. This will be our go-to whenever passing through Alpine. Highly recommend.

Lindsay Diaz What a fantastic discovery this BBQ spot was on our drive to Oklahoma! You place your order right from an Airstream, and the friendly staff delivers your food to your table. We tried the Land Yacht specialty sandwich with beef, sausage, pickle, and onion, and it was delicious. The Jumbo Loaded Baked Potato with pulled pork was also a hit. And you definitely shouldnt skip the Large Stuffed Jalapeño pepper—it was incredibly flavorful and surprisingly filling. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for more to take with us for the weekend! The staff were genuinely friendly and engaged with all the guests, making for a great experience.

Betsy Cauley Have been wanting to try Smash Shack and always want to support local food endeavors. We work out of the area and aren’t usually at home during the week and they aren’t open on weekends. Today I was home with a sick kiddo and decided to give it a try. Best part of picking up burgers and fries is sampling fries on the way home. The fries are delicious; Plump and crispy. The OG burger was really flavorful with the grilled bun and pickles it has a big punch of flavor. I definitely recommend and will be back.

Drury Jimmy “JimBo” They have awesome food and wonderful Pizza, its the only pizza Ill get in town, great customer service and a clean store and clean restrooms available to the public.
