Loves Travel Stop - (Near Van Horn, TX)

1 /5 Tara Clark: This was the worst Loves Ive ever been in. No tea, no coke in the fountain, sure other flavors were out too. They were out of XL cups and medium cups. Overly crowded with customers trying to get out of the store. Line for checkout was long, they only had 1 cashier working. Finally someone came and opened up another register. Several employees but they were doing inventory, I guess they didnt want to stop to help clear the store of the customers. Overall cleanliness was not good either. That inventory must have been more important than making sure the bathrooms were clean, things were stocked and drinks made. It would have to be a major emergency for me to stop here again. Id rather use the bathroom behind a tree than stop here as well.

1 /5 Juan Gallegos: Subway in Loves, the old black lady was extremely rude to everyone in line and would just not stop. 1/2 @7:15pm complaining about working till 4. we are surprised considering this is a Loves, she definitely needs an attitude check and how to treat a customer especially working at Loves, what a huge disappointment.

5 /5 Yaisah Granillo: If you’re on the road looking to get gas, food, and a dog park then this is it! The dog park area was really clean and spacious perfect for your dog to stretch their legs and go potty. There is a Subway store inside if you’re hungry and plenty of gas pumps but it does get busy.

5 /5 Justin Brooks: Some shops dont allow you to air up your tires for free anymore. But here in Van Horn you can still count on these guys to help keep your tires in good order. They even aired them up for me. Group of solid respectable men here. If you ever need a little hospitality out on this lonely wearisome road. Youll still find it here in Van Horn at the Loves Shop with these guys.

2 /5 Julie Monroe: On our drive from San Antonio to Albuquerque, so I can work on Christmas, we stopped at this Loves. We arrived at 2230 on Christmas Eve and wanted some hot dogs and coffee to sustain us. When we walked in, everything was open. Went to quickly use the bathroom and come out to everything being closed!! Much to our dismay, all of the drip coffee, the hotdogs and such on the roller grill, and all of the fountain drinks were Closed!! They actually dumped the remaining coffee down the drain in the short time we were in the bathroom!! The weird coffee machine worked, but the coffee did not have the same pleasant taste that the drip coffee has. Creamer and sweetener didnt help so I thought Id put a little Hot Cocoa in it. But guess what? The Hot Cocoa just shot some slightly tinted water in my coffee!! Ugghhh!! We gave up and paid for our 2 coffees. We couldve bought some snacks there, but we didnt want to give this Loves any more money. We decided not to even get gas. Also, we witnessed a few other customers grab a coffee cup and put it back because they didnt want the weird coffee machine coffee. So on to the next Loves...2 stars just because its open on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas!!
