Madelines Cafe - (Near Pittsburg, TX)

Simon Jessey This was an unexpected pleasure. My wife and I booked a night in the neighboring Fairfield Inn, but after a long drive we did not fancy getting back in the car to go to dinner. As luck would have it, the Londoner Grill is part of the attached Four Points by Sheraton hotel. We did not even have to leave our hotel as the hallways of the two hotels are connected. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with soft lighting, inoffensive background music, and some holiday-themed decorations appropriate to late December. The initial service was quick, but one person was running both the bar and the restaurant area so a little bit of patience was needed for followup service. The food was of a very high standard. I had bangers and mash, which consisted of two jumbo sausages, mashed potatoes with a little garlic, some crunchy carrots and a generous helping of caramelized onion gravy. Very delicious! My wife ordered lobster ravioli, but they were out of it so she settled for fish and chips. The fish was pretty good and lightly battered. A small part of it was a little undercooked, but the portion was large enough that it didnt really matter. The chips (steak fries) were a little bit over seasoned, but otherwise good. I finished off with a portion of white chocolate and blueberry cheesecake and raspberry sauce that was also very delicious. With water to drink, our check was $50, which I thought was very reasonable for the quality and convenience.

Randy Greenberg Loved the patio/sports deck at this place on a sunny Sunday afternoon. My spaghetti and meatballs was excellent ($18 - deal!) and my wifes ribeye strips, mashed potatoes, beans were also tasty and a great value. If youre driving thru Coleman and looking for something more than a quick taco, burger or bbq, do yourself a favor and give Scottys a try. I think youll be glad you did. Super friendly servers, fun ambiance (if you can handle the cigarette smoke) and comfortable patio vibe.

Anna LaPlante Love the vibes of this place, and the food was so good! Came early on a Sunday. Food came out quick, hot, and absolutely delicious. Definitely give them a try! The mini waffle with chai glaze was a perfect sized sidecar to my entree. Smoked salmon avocado toast was such a great portion and full of flavor! The team here is friendly and attentive with the perfect balance of chill. Next time Im in town Im absolutely coming back.
