Maple Bacon Restaurant - (Near Plano, TX)

5 /5 Christina Morgan: The restaurant we were going to visit was closed so we stopped here. I sm so glad we did. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. The food was unique and delicious. The portions were large and perfect for brunch. The pancakes were fluffy and light. The bacon was cooked perfect. My chicken fried chicken was as big as the plate and paired well with the gravy and eggs.

5 /5 nate larue: Not sure why this place only has 4.3 rating. Seating was prompt, drinks brought immediately, order taken in a timely manner, the the food was exactly as ordered, hot and tasty. I had a build your own bacon, sausage, mushroom, jalapeño and cheddar omelette with home fries. The fries were cooked to perfection with skin on just the way I like them. No bread on the plate cause I declined any. The server offered fruit instead but I declined that as well the omelette and potatoes were plenty. Price was fair especially considering the location in Plano surrounded by medical facilities. Ill definitely be back.

5 /5 Alex Ortiz: This place has delicious breakfast options. It was so fun to go with friends for brunch. When we were unable to decide from all their wonderful options, their server suggested one that was delicious. It had an apple turnover with it, and even the apple turnover was delicious. The portion sizes are worth the money. we will definitely be returning here for brunch and have already shared this Maple Bacon for our friends to go.

2 /5 Thomas McGhee: Normally, it ia a very nice restaurant and the food is prepared well. Today, I invited some out of town guests to dine with me; the experience was horrible. The waiter was inattentive, he brought us pancakes instead of waffles that we ordered. When we got the waffles, we were almost done with our lunch. We were left with decision of letting our food get cold or go ahead and eat, only to be full by the time we get the reminder of our order. There was no avocado in the AVACODO omelets and it was dry. My guest corn beef skillet looked like a child prepared it. He said it was very disappointing. I was embarrassed to have brought out of town guest to dine at Maple Bacon today. I went ahead and paid the tab because it was not fair to them to pay.

2 /5 Mariah Ortiz: I have seen this breakfast spot many times due to the location is in a shopping center. We finally went and tbh it was a let down. I ordered the omelette which was decent but it came with homemade sourdough bread and hash browns. I would say the sourdough was a bit doughy and not as airy as anticipated. I requested my hash browns crispy and they weren’t at all. I still gave them a shot and the taste was off. I also got coffee and I didn’t like it. The color was dark and ashy, maybe old? I’m unsure how to describe it. Let’s say, I usually will get 2-3 cups when I eat out but I only had the 1 and didn’t finish it. Maybe it was a bad batch. My significant ordered the chicken fried steak which he ordered the house potatoes and received hash browns. Once he was finished they brought out the potatoes. He mentioned they tasted weird as when I say I ate one I actually spit it out. I’m not exactly sure why it tasted so weird but we didn’t like them. He mentioned that the steak tasted good but too much batter. Disclaimer, I am not picky at all and I always take my leftovers to go but not this time. The prices are not as reasonable as it mentioned in the Google review the average price on the menu was about 19$. The cost range was 9$ to 30$ (a few expensive plates around 40$) a plate which there was only maybe 4 options in the 9$ to 14$ range. The service was okay. She did get my significants order the wrong with side, I had to ask to get the creamer filled, and I asked for some butter but didn’t receive. Atmosphere had potential and it seemed to be very clean. Overall I would recommend and I won’t be going back myself.
