tye anderson First time here. The food here was great. Its my new favorite place in Monahans. The owner was very nice. Will definitely be back.

Mariah Whitney Absolutely loved The Root Cellar Café in New Braunfels! The asparagus fries with homemade ranch were incredible. The savory Belgian waffle with crispy fried chicken and the biscuits and gravy (we added sausage) were both delicious. Finished with a warm brownie and vanilla ice cream, perfect ending. Great atmosphere with beautiful indoor seating and a cute outdoor picnic area. Highly recommend!

Valerie Nguyen Food was absolutely delicious. Steak was tender and moist and perfectly seasoned. Coconut cream pie was so good, just moderate sweet, which is perfect for me. Pumpkin patch latte was better than I expected. It didnt have much cinnamon taste. Ask for their seasonal drinks. I loved the view of the street from sitting outside. Recommend this place!

Rick Rolli I ordered the blackened Cajun red fish with shrimp, rice pilaf and green beans. Dessert is butter cookie and banana creme pie. Washed it down with an Arnie Palmer. Very good food. Its so nice to not have it "fishy" tasting. Interestingly enough these items are not on their online menu. Need to go there in person. It was a beautiful day and 76 degrees. We sat outside on the patio, under the shade tarps and had a great time being heckled by the birds.

Roxy C The best Mexican Restaurant I have visited in a while. From the quality of the food to the amazing service. Thank you Gabriel for making us feel comfortable and welcomed. We ordered: Mocajete 100/10 my dad said top 2 of all the places he has been and ordered it Caldo de res 10/10 just perfect for the weather Salmon 10/10 we ordered 2 of these and they were delicious Drinks: Limonada 10/10 Pepino 10/10 Horchata 10/10 Club soda 10/10 Can’t wait to be back and recommend it to family and friends ❤️❤️❤️

Barry Mitchell A wider menu than Tex-Mex. Pork carnitas were a signature dish and excellent- flour tortillas fluffy and soft. The tamal had very tasty masa and a rich smoky red sauce. Its a busy, kind of loud place. They have live music but we were there early so it was all recorded - still loud enough but even for me generally not liking loud places - I wasnt bothered by it. Staff was attentive and more than one came by to ask how things were etc. The margarita was good- I settled for the mid range "El Paso" versus the 42 ounce "Texas sized" one. Funky decor lots of alcoves with large tables - looks like its a popular spot for celebrations.
