Wa wa West Texas This is Alpine’s hole in the wall must-stop must-eat. It’s a family business and they’re super sweet. The portions are generous. The strawberry cream cup is full of strawberries, sprinkled with granola, super yummy. Fresh and authentic.

Casey Martin This is a great stop for gas, clean multi-stall restrooms and just about anything you could need on a road trip. They even have a dog run attached to their very ample parking lot. This very charming, old school general store has such an impressive variety of products - everything from a pharmacy to clothing to toys and gifts. Plus they have all the normal convenience store drinks and snacks. The young man working greeted us with a friendly hello and made us feel welcome and appreciate as customers (which sadly isn’t the norm for a lot of places). You can really feel the love and faith that is at the core of this wonderful store! We travel between Colorado and Houston often and Clarendon, in general, is a nice, clean town and definitely worth pressing on from Amarillo if you’re on a road trip out this way.

Monica Gonzalez Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend the Nutella muffin. The bathrooms were clean. And I love the vibe inside and outside.

Megan Etheridge I had the mozzarella and tomatoes and it was really tasty. I am not sure what the dipping sauce was, but it was good. My kids had the mufeletta and they really liked them. I also had a peach belini, and it was really good. They gave us cannolis because it was out first time. We also had a cookie that looked like a peach. I thought it was a real peach. Everyone working there was really nice.

Ghazal Lotfi I visited F1 Bar & Grill a couple of months ago during hockey playoff season. I came by a few times for dinner and to watch the games. The atmosphere was great and the service was friendly. The brisket sandwich was amazing, perfectly smoky and tender. For dessert I tried the banana cream pudding and the famous butter cake, both were delicious but the butter cake was my favourite. A great spot for good food and watching the games.
