4 /5 gladys ross: I used to go here often. I loved it. The last few times there was old pans of food or empty pans on the buffet. It didnt look so appealing. They have great burgers usually tho. I got the rib eye last time which is usually great but it had so much fat . Not common for Mikes! Its a great little restaurant tho and affordable. I havent given up on them. I will go back!

5 /5 Adriona Webster: Ion know who Mike is, but he can take my money EVERYTIME!! He cook my food Fresh everyday never disappoints. Always consistent and perfectly seasoned. Be careful tho!! You might end up needing new dentures from trying to eat the fork LMAO!

5 /5 Eric Bender: I love this place! Vegetarian fare, not vegan, if you desire. Sounds funny for a BBQ Restaurant, eh? They serve the best black eyed peas i have ever tasted. After a pensive, small portion, i actually went back and filled a dessert bowl with a second serving. Yes, lots of great food from salads to meat. A favorite stop along the way!

2 /5 Mama Argie: Came here while visiting a friend. I cannot recommend the food. We didnt get the buffet, so maybe thats better, but our burgers were underdone, the buns were so wet they were basically mush, and the whole thing was disintegrating as I tried to eat it. It was disgusting. Our waitress was attentive and sweet, though.

5 /5 jacalyn jones: Y’all. I went to Mike’s for the first time with a coworker after a recommendation from my grandma. We absolutely loved it. I came back the next day with my husband. The buffet is possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. The food is fresh and seasoned with love. We loved everything we tried. Fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and beans were reminiscent of a homemade meal from my mom. All of it, every bite, was amazing. Our server was phenomenal, and an absolute sweetheart. Her banter made the meals all the more enjoyable. I feel like I’m pretty picky with food, we live in Houston and have plenty of options, but I’d for sure make the drive just for the food here. If that doesn’t tell you how good it is then I don’t know what will. If you’re in town for work and need a homemade meal instead of fast food, absolutely stop here.
