Mimas Cuisine - (Near Big Spring, TX)

Grace Walker-Ledbetter Very nice restaurant tucked away near downtown Waxahachie. I’m so glad we finally went. We were not disappointed. We sat in a booth and there were pillows, I assume for lumbar support —thank you!! The waitress was very helpful. We couldn’t decide which appetizer to get so we asked her to choose one and surprise us. Which she did and the empanadas were AMAZING! We really loved the presentation of everything that was served. My husband was so happy with the mole. His words-“it’s like Christmas for my tastebuds!” My enchiladas were hands down the best I’ve ever had!

Bridgette Jones A lovely dining experience. Colin our server was great. We had the crab nachos as an appetizer- crazy good flavor combinations and very fresh! The steak salad was also delicious. The lobster mac & cheese was rich and tasty. We were celebrating a birthday so we got a free sample of the toasted pound cake. Didnt love that. Tasted very burnt. But everything else was exceptional.

Katelyn Hubbard We got the chilaquiles and birria ramen. Both were amazing and very well priced. Staff was friendly and attentive. 10/10!

Noelia Rodriguez Our waiter Jaqueline was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. She greeted my family with genuine warmth and made us feel welcome right away. Throughout the meal, she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask—refilling drinks, offering recommendations, and checking in at just the right moments. Her professionalism and kindness elevated our entire experience. We left feeling incredibly well cared for, and we’ll definitely be returning because of her!

Miss Mo Babbbbyyyyy, if you’re thinking about going, GO NOW! It was delicious. The brisket was so tender and literally falling apart. We tried so many different things. I loved the dry rub ribs and sausage, my favorite side was the creamed corn. I didn’t get photos of the sides, but we had beans, Mac and cheese, and rice! My husband and I ended up getting 2 sides of that corn though. lol the banana pudding was fire too! Will definitely return next time we visit.

Joe C We went here on July 4th and enjoyed a live band at a place close to the center of the Frisco main street area where they shoot the fireworks. You can see the fireworks right outside this restaurant. As far as the food goes, it was very good with everything we ordered. A little salty for me. Could cut down a little bit. Maybe its intentional so you can drink more beers. The atmosphere was lively with the band, which started playing around 9pm. We didnt have to wait to get a table. Parking was a nightmare on July 4th. We had to park two blocks away to dine here. We almost canceled our dining here because we circled around so long to find a parking spot and almost gave up. This is near a strip mall, and even those parking spots were taken. Just a heads up to come early, or if you dont mind walking while enjoying the whole night, then its worth it to try this place. Highly recommended.
