5 /5 Cristobal Delgado: We came here for our anniversary dinner, and everything about the experience was excellent. The food was absolutely amazing — I had the best steak I’ve ever had, and the blue corn sopes with pork belly were incredible. The service was outstanding as well, attentive without being overbearing. We had a Wednesday evening reservation, and it was a slow night, so we actually ended up being the only table there. While that might be a deal breaker for some, for us it made the evening even more intimate and special. Everything from the quiet atmosphere to the perfectly cooked dishes made for a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

5 /5 Patti Sanchez: We celebrated Mothers Day at Monarca and we loved it! The food, the service, and atmosphere were amazing. The manager, Abraham, accommodated a comfortable seat for my senior dad. The live music by Eva was incredible! We will definitely be going back to this wonderful restaurant.

4 /5 Pao Arias: Update: We returned today with my husband and truly enjoyed the food, the presentation was outstanding. I did want to share one consistent concern, however: the level of service doesn’t fully align with the pricing of the dishes. For example, although we ordered cocktails we weren’t offered water, there wasn’t any follow‑up discussion about whether we’d like it or maybe something else. I appreciate that your servers give diners space, but there’s a balance to be struck. After we finished our appetizers and before placing our main course order, the pace slowed noticeably which means more time in our seat and less turnover for you. When my drink is nearly finished, it would feel more attentive to ask if we’d like another one, or if we’re ready to order a main. A timely check‑in is very much in line with the experience we expect in an upscale setting. That said, your team is always kind, and that friendliness is why I’ve overlooked this issue in the past. But because this seems to be happening regularly, I wanted to flag it: I genuinely hope your restaurant succeeds, and I believe elevating the service just a bit will help you get there. Cocktails were so on point this time around! ——————————————- The appetizers were a standout — we ordered all three of the crudos, and each one was vibrant, fresh, and packed with flavor. They had just the right amount of spice and were beautifully balanced. Definitely a highlight of the meal. One area that could use improvement is the cocktails. I tried the Carmesí, and while it had a cute presentation, the flavor didn’t quite match the aesthetics. It tasted more like a mix of alcohol and flavor concentrate rather than a carefully crafted cocktail. I was hoping for something fresher and more refined. I wouldn’t order it again unless the recipe is updated with a more handcrafted approach.

For the first time in a long time, I was blown away by the quality and freshness of the oysters. Whether grilled or raw, they are an absolute must-try. The house sauces that accompanied them were the perfect complement. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all top-tier. And the service? Incredible. Abraham and our server Dania were amazing—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. It’s clear the team at Monarca takes pride in every detail. If you’re a seafood lover—or even just curious—this place is a gem. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Laura Smith: Monarca was a five star experience from the moment we walked in the door. We enjoyed the fish tacos and flounder. The food is fresh and mindfully prepared. We also enjoyed a cocktail. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. You will not regret dining at Monarca! Cannot wait to come back.
