5 /5 Carl Eckhardt: Namaste Tyler Texas.
If you have never tried Indian food, now is your time and your chance to do it. We are now blessed with an authentic Indian restaurant in Tyler Texas.
In my reviews I hand out compliments, and I can also criticize if needed. I try to be kind in either case.
I know that if you grew up in East Texas and really havent been anywhere outside of the area then you might hesitate and never give this a try. But you really need to knock down that barrier, step up, and try this food. They will help you decide what would be a good starter for you to taste the flavors.
They offer multiple levels of spice. Today, I chose medium and it could compare to that of a Mexican food restaurant that serves spicy hot salsa. I, personally can tolerate the next level up, because I have eaten this food for years.
There is nothing weird to this cuisine. It has ingredients that you would recognize from sitting at an American family home. The Taste is different than what you are used to if you dont know what Im talking about but I think you would accept it and like it if you didnt choose a spice level that was too high for your liking.
Working in the restaurant industry is extremely hard. I know how hard it is to make these dishes that they offer because I cook it at home as well. These guys have to be athletes to make it through a day. And there is evidence in the food that they have worked extremely hard.
Here is a place that is nearby and you dont have to drive to Dallas or Houston or Austin to get it. We need to help them stay alive and thrive so that that remains the story.
I want to thank the owners and operators of Namaste for coming to Tyler Texas, and bringing us the cuisine from India. It is delicious.
