Nelson’s Authentic BBQ - (Near Burnet, TX)

Ash Janee I ordered dumplings w French fries & a mango smoothie. Everything was good!!!. The smoothie is made from fresh fruit. The fries were not too crispy nor too hard. The dumplings were very good as well. I went during lunch time so the crowd wasn’t too bad. The lady working the counter was nice she came over and spoke to me about the bike marathon happening this weekend. I would definitely go back to try other things. CONS- limited parking. The restaurant is right next to The Kate across from the big blue building. There are no huge signs on the outside of the building to show you where Ruby City Burger is located.

J. Krlvgn To be fair, I usually only get pizzas to go, but...every time I do go, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food comes out pretty quick, and they dont charge crazy prices. While its not (currently) more than pizza and wings, it is decent pizza at a decent price from decent folks...and lets be honest....who doesnt like pizza?

Marissa Sanchez Stopped by for the first time here after reading positive reviews. The location is small but cozy and welcoming. Service was very friendly and helpful when I asked questions about some of the empanada flavors. I like that the price you see is the price you pay. Taxes are already built into the price. My two sons and I all ate for $45 with tip. You never feed 3 grown people at that price anywhere anymore! The empanadas were delicious. Very filling. The buffalo chicken empanada had a nice kick to it, according to my son. The Argentina empanada is their speciality and yes, it was delicious! I highly recommend this place! Support your local small business and enjoy a great, well priced meal while you do!

Tiffany Jeffery My husband and myself had a lunch date here today. This was our first time trying it and we would hands down recommend everyone come and try the amazing food. We ordered 2 steak pupusas and they were freshly made and the best we have ever had. I ordered the steak torta and it comes with fries on the side. The torta was amazing and you can tell all the ingredients are fresh. The fries were so good (they tasted like the old school McDonalds fries you know back when they were actually good and fresh) My husband got the brisket burrito with rice and beans. He said it was amazing. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. When we walked in it smelled very clean! The chips and salsa you get to start was great and you could tell the salsa was fresh. If we could give this place 20 ⭐ we definitely would. If you havent stopped and tried it yourself you definitely should. We will be back!
