5 /5 Krystal Burgess: My husband and I did the dinner and animal encounter for our anniversary and to say it was amazing is an understatement! Our cabin (Tranquility Suite) was so cozy, beautiful and the bed was so comfortable! Once we were there, I was upset with myself for only booking one night but one night at this cabin with the dinner and animal encounters was the most magical night! It’s walking distance to the steakhouse and animals. Our guide Shelby, was absolutely wonderful; she was so educated, kind, patient and taught us so much! The dinner was phenomenal! They change their menu every month but when we went they had a poblano cream soup that was amazing, I would buy this in bulk if I could and the steak literally melts in your mouth! There was live music and the atmosphere was so beautiful/elegant and cozy. The owners and staff were all so welcoming! I plan to go back and take my daughter, 1000% recommend!!!

5 /5 Darla Moore: I’m already on the naughty list for next Christmas because I didn’t post a review after my first visit to Oak Meadow Ranch in 2023. I thought I did, Santa! My son and I enjoyed another unforgettable experience at Oak Meadow Ranch, where each guest is treated like a VIP, as they enjoy close encounters with some of the cutest, happiest and most fascinating animals in existence. I wish I had the words to describe the surreal feeling of holding a sloth or a fennec fox. The joy of leaping lemurs and marvelous marmosets, playful otters, the serenity of a caracal, a serval, sweet and affectionate camels, a highland calf, close encounters with giraffes, the first time holding a ball python…the list goes on and on. You will never forget this amazing ranch, the hosts, all of the staff, the guides (ours was the amazing Chloe) who are so knowledgeable, patient, fun and who have spent hours with the amazing animals! They pay strict attention to their well-being and bring awareness of the plights of the different species in the wild. I notice the smells of animal enclosures are not bad at all, if anyone is sensitive to smells. I never mind the individual smells, but the bedding and other elements they use, creates a distinct potpourri (or poo-purr-i) that is not at all unpleasant. It’s impressive how clean everything is! Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and put a visit to Oak Meadow Ranch on your bucket list. You won’t regret it for even a millisecond. Wait! The food is a magnificent gourmet delight, beautifully presented and unforgettable on its own. Even if you are used to such fabulous fare, unlike me, you will be deeply impressed!

5 /5 Rachel Ames: I just returned from a yoga retreat at Oak Meadow Ranch and it was truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I could feel how special this place is. The owners are incredibly hands-on, and you can see their passion in every corner of the ranch. The staff is just as amazing—genuine, warm, and deeply committed to caring for the animals. What really stood out to me is how much the entire team focuses on education and making a positive impact in the world. Every interaction and detail felt intentional, and you can tell they’re dedicated to helping people connect with the animals in meaningful, responsible ways. It’s rare to find a place where you feel both inspired and at peace, but Oak Meadow Ranch delivers that effortlessly. You get to truly experience the animals in a hands on way that no other place I know of offers. If you’re looking for a retreat that nurtures your mind, body, and soul—and supports a mission that truly makes a difference—you’ll love it here. I can’t recommend it enough. I’ve also done the dinner experience which is just as phenomenal! Everything they do is truly 5 star!

5 /5 Erin Holmes: Heaven is a place on earth, and it is called Oak Meadow Ranch… The Nourish and Nature yoga retreat here was hands down one of the best experiences of my life to date. The thought that the owners and staff put into every single detail and moment here shows, I was absolutely blown away. Despite the chickens, peacocks, guinea fowl, and bunnies roaming around freely, the grounds were somehow immaculate ant anll times and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Every guest suite was unique and gorgeous. Every meal prepared by their talented chefs was phenomenal, and last night’s filet grilled over an open flame may have been the best steak I’ve ever eaten. The animals here are treated like family members, and the bond they have with their caregivers is like nothing I’ve ever seen. Swimming with the otters was unforgettable, and I could hardly bear to leave after an hour of playing with the lemurs. A 3-day stay wasn’t nearly enough time at this beautiful place, but it certainly won’t be my last!

5 /5 Dane Hall: We had no idea how amazing of a place we would be staying at when we booked. Not only was our Airbnb beautiful for our little honeymoon, but the Oak Meadow ranch blew us away! The staff is incredible, friendly, and outgoing! We loved to hear about their mission and plans. The animals are lively and healthy which makes our hearts so full. We can’t wait to come back and you MUST stay a whole weekend to get the full experience.
