Dan Z Bellinos was a really pleasant surprise! The staff was all super sweet and accommodating - even though we arrived at peak time on a Saturday night without a reservation... They quickly figured out a table for us and service was non-stop great food. We got the mini-meatballs as an appetizer (they are spicy), my wife got the Pollo Parmegianna and I got the crispy salmon salad, hey it had been a long time since Id had salmon without that peculiar "tanginess" and it was cooked to perfection. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity youll get, and the low-light atmosphere bring you to a nice set. Theres no need to over think it, just go there and enjoy!

The hookah menu was extensive and the flavors were rich and smooth, lasting way longer than expected. What really stood out were the drinks and food! Renea Skinner We had the Shrimp al diablo appetizer, lamb burger and the schnitzel...all was delicious! Service was excellent! Sarah and Nick were attentive and friendly.

Laporsha Meanus I have visited Doris around 4 to 5 times while staying in Midland for work. The food is excellent, offering generous portions for the price. My go-to dish is the fried chicken, which never fails to impress. Another favorite of mine is the ox tails, but they are only available on Sundays and Fridays, which is disappointing because I could eat them every day! Their muffin-sized cornbread is simply amazing. Im usually not a fan of cornbread, but they have won me over with theirs—its that good. The customer service is decent, with everyone I encountered being friendly. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning, making it a bit warm inside. Overall, I would rate this place 8.2 out of 10.

Austin Mayer Nice icehouse with a very family-friendly atmosphere. I ordered the fried catfish, queso and chips, a chicken sandwich, and chicken salad. Everything came out fresh and quickly, which I appreciated. There wasn’t a single standout dish that blew me away, but the food was solid and dependable. Prices were pretty standard for an American diner. Overall, a reliable spot that I’d visit again.
