I visited around Halloween, and the décor was absolutely on point: fun, creative, and really added to the whole experience. I’m already looking forward to going back during the holiday season to see how they transform the place because if it’s anything like their Halloween setup, it’s going to be amazing. Overall, I highly recommend Mamajuana to anyone looking for a great brunch spot in downtown Houston: delicious food, great vibes, and a super welcoming ambiance.

The staff was friendly, and the whole place just feels like a local hidden gem. Found this while exploring the area for @361Scoop — definitely adding it to the must-visit list!

Stephen Ellwood Excellent brisket , excellent small link sausage. Borracho beans were a pleasant surprise. Would recommend this to anyone who is a BBQ fan. Outdoor tables and an indoor area with tables and air conditioning.
