Papos Place - (Near Rockport, TX)

5 /5 Jeanette: Read the reviews for Papos and at first decided not to come here but ended up here because of Marker 12 reviews not realizing it wasnt Marker 12. Im so glad it took us to Papos! People skip over the negative reviews(To many negative Nancys out there!!) Every staff encountered were so nice and even the owner checked in on us. Granite, yes the menu is Currently limited but its delicious!! (See photos) it tasted fresh to us! I swear we waited less than 10 minutes. We are already planning to come back next month. We live 2 hours away or wed make this our weekend hangout place. Dont skip this place, give them a chance. (No I dont know anyone that works here. This is a sincere review.)

1 /5 Nikki Miller: The food here is HORRIBLE!!! It’s a fun atmosphere if you just want to hang out, watch the boats in the water, watch a game, let your kids play, drink, etc. but beware… don’t eat the food!! Update in response to the owner question… I’m not trying to be harsh, just honest. Yes, we tried a good variety of it. The fish smelled and tasted awful, the shrimp was super greasy and tasted awful, the buffalo wings were decent but tasted like they’d been cooked in a microwave, and the kids had a grilled cheese, but it wasn’t grilled enough to melt the cheese, so it was 2 pieces of Texas toast with a slice of warm cheese in it. Like I said, the atmosphere was good - it’s probably a drinking place, which is great if all you want to do is drink and hang out, but our WHOLE group agreed that the food could use a major upgrade, especially for what we paid for it.

5 /5 ally laing: Excellent place for a family night out. Plenty kids activities, live music and sports on the big screen. Food/Snacks wete slow coming, but were worth the wait and we ordered twice. Nice draft beer selection and very reasonably priced, bartenders knew how to make a good shot. Will definitely return.

5 /5 P Flores: Family friendly, clean, and packed with fun amenities for littles and adults - THE KIDS LOVE IT! Beautiful waterfront location, too. As for food & service, we honestly dont visit any Rockport establishments with high expectations. This place delivered exactly what we needed: food & service that matched the pricing, and they easily accommodated our large group with kids (this is really what we look for while on vacation). Overall, a super pleasant experience. We’ll continue to return.

5 /5 James Martin: The BLT with thick sliced bacon and lemon pepper wings were delicious. Our first time here, large screen set up outside for football. Great atmosphere, nice to sit and watch the water. Food was ready within 15-20 minutes. They didn’t tell us to pick up food outside but we saw the cook sit out food out when we received the text that our order was ready. The young woman at the register could have mentioned that the food would be outside. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back, it is still new and they are working out the kinks. Come try it out, sit and enjoy the water.
