Lance Mayfield Tucked away in the heart of Beorne, 259 Brantleys Bistro & Bar is the kind of place you hope to find when you’re looking for a genuine good time. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between a relaxed neighborhood bar and a vibrant spot for a night out. The drinks here are truly terrific. The bar staff clearly knows their craft, whether they’re mixing a margarita or serving up a perfectly made pecan old fashioned. The menu offers a solid and satisfying selection, with something to please every palate. We found ourselves trying a few different cocktails throughout the evening and each one was expertly made and refreshing. What really makes the experience stand out, however, is the service. The entire team, from the hosts to the servers, is exceptionally friendly and attentive. They manage to be efficient and prompt without ever making you feel rushed, creating a welcoming environment that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. And staying a while is highly recommended, especially when the live bands take the stage. The entertainment schedule is a major draw, and for good reason. The bands we heard were very entertaining, offering a great mix of covers and original tunes that had the whole room energized. The sound level is well-managed, allowing for conversation at your table while still letting you enjoy the music. 259 Brantleys is the full package: great drinks, wonderful service, and fantastic live music. It’s an excellent choice for a casual dinner, a night out with friends, or a weekend date. This is a standout establishment in Beorne and has easily become a new favorite.

SGTTREV ​"Stopped by the Cracker Barrel in Lufkin for a solid country breakfast and it did not disappoint. I ordered Grandma’s Holiday Sampler (Grandmas Plate) and it was exactly the kind of comfort food I was looking for. ​What really made the visit stand out, though, was our waitress, Cortney. She was incredibly friendly and provided top-tier customer service. It’s rare to find service this genuine these days—the management team there should be very proud to have her on the team! Joe Dorman I’ve been here 3 times now. Wonderful burger each time. Cooked perfectly, toasted bun, and seasoned well. Also like the crispy fries. Had the chili cheese burger today for the first time. Tasty chili with grilled onions. Always a third pound patty. Can’t go wrong here.

Matt Padron Food is perfect, flavorful, and honestly some of the best around. Service is also 5/5, super friendly and patient without. The atmosphere earns a solid 4/5 with a warm, laid-back vibe that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. A go-to choice when you want great food and great people

Luis Carrasco Bilia is an absolute gem! The food is bursting with authentic Latin American flavor. I tried the arepas, chicken soup, chicharrones with guacamole, and their fresh guava lemonade — everything was delicious, refreshing, and made with care. The happy hour with sangria is unbeatable. The background music and warm aesthetics set the perfect vibe, and the arquitectura instantly transports you back to Latin America. This place is truly a gold mine in the entire state of Texas. A must-visit!
