5 /5 Steven Christian: First time visiting while driving through, late afternoon so the place was not crowded. Parras Grill serves a mix of Tex-Mex and southern boy comfort food - and they seem to do it very well. We ordered their Mexican Plate and the Frito Pie with a regular size onion rings for a side. The onion rings, salsa, tostada shells, chips, taco shells - all made in house. The Frito Pie was great, the Mexican Plate was tasty, and the house made rings were perfect. Service was good. The restaurant reminded me of cafes and restaurants I visited in the 60s and 70s. The restaurant was clean, the restrooms were clean. Everything about Parras Grill was a pleasant surprise. Glad we took the opportunity to stop by.
