M Smith Stopped on a whim and what a nice surprise! Best mushrooms we have had in years and both burgers were delicious. Friendly service and a diverse lunch crowd (workers, retirees and families )which is always a good sign.

Shade Tree Comanche - Comanche

nflvikings1 Great place to buy bait. Warning! Do not buy lottery scratch tickets here!! This place only sells losing tickets. I have bought large quantities here several times over the years and something just isnt right.

Los Arcos de Castillos - Stephenville

Rating: 4.3 /5
Andrew Dunsworth Good home style food and friendly great service. Large portions of all kinds and breakfast served any time of day. Coffee cokes and tea are endless and always ready. Been going here for years and they are always consistently getting better. Great for those who are hungry and want that small town atmosphere.

The Tradition - Austin

Rating: 4.4 /5
Flora A true Austin gem. The Tradition lives up to its name with classic American comfort food done right. Warm, inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and dishes that feel familiar yet thoughtfully elevated. Everything is well-executed, from the starters to the mains, making it a great spot for both locals and visitors looking for a timeless Austin dining experience. Would happily return.

El Quincho - Fredericksburg

Rating: 5 /5
Cole McLaurin Found this gem off the beaten path but totally worth it. The Argentinan style food and open outdoor dining area is something totally different from anything in Fredericksburg. The food, cocktails and wine were fantastic! Will be returning next time we visit Fred

The Potato Shack - Kingsland

Rating: 4.3 /5
Bs Bees If youre anywhere near Kingsland, Texas and you don’t stop at The Potato Shack, youre doing life wrong. I’m not being dramatic—this place will straight-up end your relationship with every other baked potato youve ever loved. You thought you had a good one once? No. That was a sad, hot rock with some cheese thrown at it. The Potato Shack doesn’t bake potatoes—they serve up something so good it shuts you up mid-bite. It’s that perfect kind of Baked potato.Cracked open evenly. Toppings? Not slapped on—layered with intention. Melted cheese that actually melts. Meats that are cooked to perfection. Every forkful tastes like someone cared. Like someone said, “This right here is gonna be the best part of their day,” and then made damn sure it was. The portion sizes? Offensive. In the best possible way. You will either need a nap, a wheelbarrow, or a second stomach. Maybe all three. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. I would sell state secrets for another bite. I would throw hands with my past self for not discovering this place sooner. I would fistfight a raccoon in the parking lot for the last loaded Shack Spud. This is not a suggestion. This is a call to action. Get in your car. Go to The Potato Shack. Eat the damn potato. Youre welcome. Spent 11$. Buttery Baked potato, Cheese, and Double Bacon Bits.
