Jacque Raines Absolutely fabulous food! Every single serving is made from scratch and it shows. Just like my Grandmother use to make. Definitely worth the drive. They had a buffet the day we ate there and it looked wonderful, for $14.99. We chose the blue plate special which included 3 sides, roll or cornbread and meat of your choice that was on the buffet. The price was $ 11.99 and included drink and dessert. We had the chicken fried chicken and hamburger steak with sautéed onions. The apple and peach cobblers were delicious as was the brownies. Granny Clarks has been around for a longtime and I see why! If you are looking for fresh made home-cooked food, this is your place! Ask for Ryan, hes great!

Sam Dairy Queen – Big Springs, TX Stopped here for a quick bite while passing through on Easter weekend, and honestly, I wish we hadn’t. The food was barely edible—everything tasted like it had been fried in old, rancid oil. Couldn’t even finish my meal. The only saving grace was the staff—super sweet and attentive, which is the only reason this gets 2 stars instead of 1.

N Bur Best damn BBQ I ever had! Even the sausage & sides are raveable! If only their hours were more convenient to my travel patterns, I’d stop by more often, but it makes it that much more delicious when the stars align. And, dessert… I thought Connie’s Custard (Houston, Tx) was my favorite, but their banana pudding ice cream is heaven- sent, heaven sent. And, always ask if they are almost out of something… and, order it! That’s the good stuff!

Tino J Wow!!! We really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Maria was our server and she was very pleasant and gave us great service. I am all about customer service. The food was plenty and cooked to perfection. I have to say, I really enjoyed the butter toast. Yummmmmm! I didnt know the biscuits and gravy was going to be that much food, but it was so good. You could tell the biscuits were homemade and the gravy we got had bits of sausage. Oh, it was perfectly made. We would definitely come to back just to try their other menu items.

Lisa Bridge 1st off, not busy, super friendly employees with great tips that led us to the most amazing and afforable lunch around. Definitely, try the $4 loaded fries!! Homemade fries and homemade cheese sauce took the cake! But aint gonna lie we polished off the Philly too just didnt get a picture. Owner and cooks were top notch too!
