Providencia Midland - (Near Midland, TX)

5 /5 Julie Atkins: Wow! I have no idea why this gem of a restaurant doesn’t have more stars. The atmosphere is a beautifully designed space. I love that the bar is not the center of everything. The staff almost made me forget I was still in Midland. They all went above and beyond with making sure our experience was one we wont forget. Lastly, the food and cocktails we ordered were perfectly seasoned and the perfect portion. Not too much that we were neither wasteful or uncomfortable because we had to have that last bite. However, every bite was full of flavor and was so delicious. I ordered the seafood enchiladas (menu calls it the proper name) They were incredible and the black beans and rice were also very good. My husband had a pork dish which he could not stop expressing how deliciously tender his meal was. Too many eateries over salt, add MSG type additives or serve ridiculously huge amounts. Providencia is not the typical Midland fare. We will be back.

2 /5 Jett Perez: I will say that from the moment we walked in everyone was very attentive & the restaurant seemed organized and clean. overall inviting atmosphere however; food was subpar but service was excellent. Pictured you will see chilaquiles, chilaquiles with egg whites, and huevos rancheros accompanied with chips and salsa. Unfortunately, the best thing I had was the Bloody Mary. Oh and let me not forget the churros... With the side of unfortunate Hersheys chocolate syrup. I was expecting soooo much more from the menu. Im going to attribute the less than satisfactory food due to it being a new establishment with first date jitters and trying to find its footing. Ill give another update once Ive mustered up the courage to revisit this establishment.

5 /5 Rob P: Great food and great staff! This has become one of my favorite places in midland to go. The food is wonderful and the staff is always attentive! I also love sitting on the patio so the kids can run around in the green space next door and have fun, while we can keep an eye on them!

4 /5 John Funk: The food, service and atmosphere is top notch! We will definitely be back. Danny is great and took care of us. Only complaint is closing too early and feeling pressured to leave at or by closing time.

5 /5 Margot Pesek: Had a wonderful date night with great service. Started with the Margarita Martini, Torre de Atun, chips & salsa. Husband got steak tacos, I got Enchiladas Suizas. Was very impressed with the simplicity of each dish and all had wonderful flavor. We will be back.
