Rhythm & Blues Restaurant - (Near Lubbock, TX)

Justin Conway My wife and I had dinner at BARREL & DERRICK at 9pm on a Monday. The modern deco dining room was big, clean and beautiful, with low lighting. We were sat immediately by our host at a comfortable booth. Our server was considerate & courteous. We started by sharing a Peach & Burrata Salad, and for the main course we ordered the smoked Turkey Avocado BLT with truffle parmesan fries, a side order of grilled broccolini, the Ultimate Chicken Fried Steak with whipped gold mash potato and house made jalapeño gravy, and a Elysian Space Dust IPA. All the food was phenomenal. This was probably the best Chicken Fried Steak Ive ever had, perfectly breaded & fried. This was one of the best meals we had on our 10 day road trip. I would be surprised if BARREL & DERRICK wasnt the best restaurant in all of Odessa. We spent $113.66 including tip, and it was worth every penny. Thank you, chef.

Denise Pena Amazing burgers! The sauce is so good, I asked them to start bottling it and selling it. Outdoor seating area is nice too.

LJ I had their Smokehouse burger, and it is one of the best barbecue burgers I have had. Too often, barbecue burgers taste smothered, with the flavor of the burger being drowned in the sweetness of the barbecue sauce. On this burger, however, the barbecue flavor complemented the burger without being oppressively sweet and smoky, with sautéed onions added for an extra layer of delicious. The burger was very juicy and well cooked, and the tots that I had on the side had a nice savory seasoning that worked well with the burger. The truck is in a very convenient location as well, right next to Carport on University. The staff were very courteous and friendly, and are Aggies themselves. If you are in the mood for a good burger, barbecue or not, I strongly recommend that you give them a try.

Jake Pflum Cant say enough great things about Lolos Place. Great food and even better people. You dont feel like a customer, you feel like family when you walk in. We were able to try the "Loco Moco" Friday lunch, brownies, and sourdough cinnamon rolls - all of which were phenomenal. Lolos place quickly became one of our favorite spots in Seguin.

James Lomax We arrived just before closing on a Sunday with a dog and two young kids whilst on a long road trip. The team were really friendly, helpful, and accommodating despite it being the end of their day and really went the extra mile to make sure we were all comfortable. The food was also delicious home cooking, lots of it and good value for money. Is well worth a stop if you are passing through.

Arturo Tirado Great food at great prices! The portions are great too. Not the hugest menu but a great selection and what they offer is great. The restaurant is very nice inside with nice lighting and clean restrooms. Friendly service staff They offer BOGO beer and a good variety of wines. Plenty of tables available and I noticed there was a lot of food being picked up to go. They also offer quite a bit of fancy teas and custom drinks that looked delicious that I’ll enjoy on my next several return visits to come.
