Kettlewell Micah (Cowscrazy) Loved this place. Moo-Moo in a town called Port LaVaca could it be any better. Chicken was great. Gravy was even better. While it’s mostly a chicken place you can still get a burger too if you wish it.

This restaurant was so sweet and accommodating about my food allergies which is surprisingly hard to come by! A random stop on our road trip in Brenham was a wonderful experience because of places like this!

Mellissa Wallace Chelas Mexican Restaurant delivers classic, satisfying Mexican comfort food done right. This taco plate was generous and flavorful , soft corn tortillas filled with well-seasoned, shrimp sautéed onions and peppers, and topped with just the right amount of melted cheese. The tacos were simple, hearty, and packed with that authentic, home-style flavor. The sides really completed the plate: fluffy Mexican rice with great texture and creamy refried beans that tasted rich and comforting, not bland or watery. Everything felt freshly prepared and well-balanced. No frills, no overcomplication, just solid, traditional Mexican food that hits the spot. If you’re craving a filling, comforting meal with authentic flavors, Chelas is a great choice.

Mark Hungate This restaurant is in the hotel. The hotel as well as the bar and restaurant look beautiful. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. I had the ribeye and it tasted great. I would suggest the mashed potatoes as well. For an appetizer I got the chips green chili queso and salsa. The queso was perfect and I loved the salsa. I would definitely recommend going here.

Texas Sam Delicious Food & Thoughtful Safety Measures I visited Dimassis with my team earlier this week, and we had an outstanding lunch. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself was spotless, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Since the pandemic, my wife has been hesitant about dining at buffets, but Dimassis thoughtful touch of providing plastic gloves for handling serving utensils really stood out. Its small details like this that show they care about their guests comfort and safety. I’ll definitely be returning—and next time, I’m bringing my family!
