Valerie Sovinski Went to get some eats after work (1:00 a.m.), did the drive through. Service was quick. Male staff, he was the assistant night manager, at register was great, friendly, customer service focused and invested in making sure I drove away happy. And yes I did, very happy. Food, whatawings were fresh hot and covered in barb q sauce, just like I like them. They have the best French fries around, again fresh hot and good. Price somewhat startling, but everywhere is somewhat startling these days. Ill be back after my next closing shift. See you all then.

Nicole Garcia We had a nice visit overall. Small wait but we could tell they were working with a new cook who was trying hard to make sure he made orders correctly. We wanted to order the new spicy chicken basket but unfortunately they didn’t get their order in so she only had a few pieces left. She threw those in with our regular chicken so we could try them. And they were delicious. The food came out hot and correct. The restaurant was clean and so were the restrooms.

Leslie Hooper Very good! The girl working at Little Caesars tonight was very courteous even when asking if I needed complimentary items like napkins and cheese and pepper. The pizza was very delicious perfect cooked and perfect topped, and I would really like to command the girl that gave me my order in the Drive-Thru

JOE THOMAS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down, The Horny Toad is one of the best hidden gems in all of Central Texas! We took the scenic backroads drive out to Cranfills Gap (which is half the fun—beautiful Hill Country views!), and this place absolutely delivered. The burgers? Absolutely legendary. We got the classic cheeseburger on the special “Toad bun” — juicy, perfectly seasoned, with just the right toppings. I also tried the B-witch (loaded with bacon, jalapeños, grilled onions… wow), and it lived up to every bit of the hype. People weren’t kidding when they say it’s worth driving 50+ miles for! The onion rings were crispy perfection and disappeared in minutes. The atmosphere is pure old-school Texas magic—rustic metal building, neon beer signs, barn wood, license plates on the walls, and that welcoming honky-tonk/biker-bar feel. Friendly staff treated us like family, the service was quick and spot-on, and the cold beer hit the spot perfectly. It’s not fancy, and that’s exactly why it’s awesome. This is real-deal, no-pretenses Texas at its best—great food, great people, and a vibe you just can’t find in the city. If you’re anywhere near Waco, Clifton, or cruising the backroads, do yourself a favor and make the trip to The Horny Toad. You won’t regret it. We’ll be back every time we’re in the area!

Nelida Safrit We had dinner at Freddy’s. Got the bacon double. It was delicious! I love the thin fries they serve. I was too full to taste the custard. Maybe next time. Service was great. The restaurant was pretty empty.
