3 /5 Becca M: Dined here for a late lunch out on the patio. Absolutely loved the patio setup and restaurants interior. My server Juan was fantastic. The chips came out warm (yay!) and the salsa was really feakin great!
As a place to grab drinks and munch on chips and salsa with your friends (or a date), I think this is a really great spot. Especially if you live close by. I however, dont drink alcohol so was there for the food.
Tex-Mex is my favorite food group. I wanted soft tacos and unfortunately there were only hard-shelled tacos on the lunch specials menu (an no option for brisket, which was what I was craving). I will say the lunch specials were great prices.
To get what I really wanted (brisket tacos with corn tortillas), I had to order from the dinner menu (think: higher price). It came with 3 good-sized tacos, a scoop of rice and side salad. The tortillas were not flimsy soft nor plain corn. The tacos looked tasty but I found them to be surprisingly bland (including the dipping sauce). Rice/salad was just OK.
In the end, I wish Id have just ordered something else from the lunch menu, so I hadnt spent as much.
