Didcay 234 Have always driven past this location and never tried it, glad I did today! I got my favorite dish Chicken Aristocrat which is white cream and marinara with angel hair, eggplant, and chicken breast. Was a massive portion that the picture doesnt do justice as the tray was two inches deep. Usually eggplant tastes frozen or heated up as patties but this tasted amazingly fresh with an amazing texture. The house vinaigrette was a little strong so dont put too much on your salad, and the two included rolls were amazing when dipped in the excess sauce with my dish. Would recommend for the price, service and quality!

Maggie Marie Food is absolutely delicious, HUGE portions for such a wonderful price. We even added some fried dumplings and realized we didn’t bring enough cash and they covered the dollar and some difference which was so kind of them. This is my first time trying this place and I have always heard great things about this restaurant and it all stands true to rumors. 10/10!

From the moment we sat down, our waiter Alan made us feel right at home — friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of the food he was serving. We ordered the burgers, and hands down, they were the best we’ve had in New Braunfels — and that’s saying a lot! They’ve officially surpassed Muck & Fuss and Tin Top for us in quality, taste, and presentation. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection — every bite was next-level. And we can’t forget to give an honorable mention to their onion rings — unbelievably crispy, golden, and packed with flavor. Easily the best side we’ve had anywhere in town. If you’re looking for top-tier food, great service, and a local gem that’s raising the bar, The Hideaway is it. We’ll definitely be back — and asking for Alan!

Delia Perez Great food and service! 1st time visiting and I know we will be back soon! I ordered La Careta plate and everything was perfect and delicious. Chips and salsa are good and salsa is not too spicy. Both Flauta and taco were crisp to perfection!
