SHINKO 88 - (Near San Marcos, TX)

Santiago Ordered a small thin crust sweet sauce pizza with beef and mild hot wings. I asked for extra done on the pizza, and it was still a bit doughy. The pizza was ok. The wings were also just ok. They could have been better with a bit more sauce on them. There was nothing wrong with the food, but nothing to make me want to come back either. The restaurant was clean but very outdated. This was an online order to go, so I didnt really interact with the staff much.

Josh Brown Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Multiple managers (Tyler & Eddie?) came by to check on our table with very pleasant conversation. Love coming to this place to make you feel like family and the food is Top-Notch!

Artie Thibodeaux This is our new favorite restaurant. It is a cajun restaurant with a flare of Mexican or vice versa. They had the best food that we have had in a while. Everything we had was great. My wife and her friend had the seafood platter. This is the first time I have seen a real seafood platter like this in a long time. My buddy had the Blacjened Redfish Pontchartrain, I had the shrimp poboy. For appetizers we had gatir bites and Mexican cocktail. When I say this place was a 10 I am not exaggerating We absolutely cant wait to go back.

H C I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for months and my husband and I finally made it. I had the BEST time! I loved the atmosphere and service was excellent. Our waiter was outstanding! We went for lunch and I couldnt believe the special. All you can eat! For an amazing price! I was very excited to try Korean fried chicken and I was not disappointed! The BEST chicken wings I have ever eaten. I loved cooking at the table and with the lunch special, there are so many options to try! We had the chicken, sirloin, pork chops, brisket and beef belly. All very good. This is my new favorite restaurant. I am telling all of my friends and family. You MUST try

Tana Alexia was a great bartender. First time here and the beer was ice cold and the cocktail I had was amazing. The fried pickles appetizer were the best I ever tasted, crispy, hot and perfect pickles. I got the lasagna as an entree and it was hot and fresh. It’s a scratch made kitchen which I never knew! I enjoyed the atmosphere. Good place to come and watch a sports game! Also the manager stopped by and gave us a free app card she was very nice and helpful despite being busy ! Hardworking people over there! Also great prices!!!!

Jacque Raines Great service, great atmosphere, great food! Our party had lunch and it was excellent. The cheese ravioli and Ceasars Salad was freshly prepared and perfectly seasoned. The tomatoes and lettuce salad was topped with fresh cheese and the dressing was tart and tasty. Pizza was great but the crust was a bit overcooked. The ambiance and decor reminds me of some of the Italian Cafes and Lounges while visiting Italy. The black leather booths and chairs, accented by the black and white vintage photos on the walls, create an atmosphere of chic retro. They are adding pool tables and the dining and lounge area should appeal to a large clientele. Ask for Hallie, she is awesome!
