SILVER DOLLAR WINERY HILL COUNTRY - (Near Johnson City, TX)

5 /5 Kari Mann: Visited on New Years Day for lunch with friends and had the most enjoyable experience. Pizza was delicious and so was our appetizer, jalopeno cheese stuffed ravioli. The staff was helpful and friendly as well. We visit this area multiple times a year and plan to return to Silver Dollar next time!

5 /5 Kevin Whited: We visit this area 3-4 times a year, and never miss a stop at the Silver Dollar! So I feel a little bad, because they have an Italian bistro with a great little menu, but we ALWAYS get the pizzas. The crust is perfect (thin and crispy). The toppings are high quality and fresh. There are enough varieties for all tastes (weve had most - all the pizzas are really good). Its such a great pizza and we have such trouble finding great pizza that we never have anything else. I feel like were probably missing out on a bunch of other great menu items! One day, well give them a try. :) We like to come during breezy, sunny days, sit out in their great yard, and enjoy their rose (sparkling and regular) with our pizza. Its so relaxing! Just a great space to have a bite and sip some wine. And they go ALL OUT around Halloween (see my photo) so even more fun then. The people who will help you are kind as can be. After your second or third visit, youre going to be treated as a regular, but since they treat everyone great from the get go, all that really means is that theyre going to recognize you, maybe raise an eyebrow, maybe carry on a bit more. Otherwise, youll just be treated great by really warm people. Theyre also very dog (and hummingbird) friendly, and thats important to us. :)

5 /5 Ty Bloom: We visited the winery today for the first time. We are from Idaho Wine country originally from California. We had a great time tasting snacking and visiting. Talked about jeeps and others things. Bought several bottles and will be back! It’s nice to visit with such personable people. Thanks for the good time.

5 /5 Lisa Moore: We love Silver Dollar Winery and Italian Bistro!!! it’s a must stop at when you are in Texas Hill Country! We feel it is the most authentic winery in the area!! The grounds are absolutely amazing to get a bottle of wine and a great Italian meal and sit outside, taking in the beautiful countryside! We love the chicken poblano lasagna, it’s to die for! The staff is amazing and super friendly! Feels like coming home every time we visit from Colorado!!
