5 /5 Eleanor: While many Mexican restaurants have salsa similar to the Chihuahua district taste profile, this place features flavors similar to those found in the Tamaulipas zone. The Ixtapa dish was served hot and sizzling. The verde enchiladas were popping with a pleasant aroma. The staff were attentive and helpful. Will be back another day! They serve generous portions and flavors that will warrant more repeat customers.

5 /5 Chuck Yaunk: The reviews for this place are spot on! BEST Mexican food in Anderson county, dare I say, the best I’ve ever had! Friendly staff. The place isn’t fancy but I actually seek these places out. It’s a gem for sure. Worth the short drive from Palestine for sure. I had the sampler platter and it’s enough food to share with another easily. Check it out and I’m sure it won’t be your last time there.

5 /5 Reagan Pope: I heard about this place having recently opened and stopped by around 6:30pm this Wednesday evening. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. They had both booths and tables available for seating. The servers were very kind, welcoming, and attentive. I was brought some chips and salsa. The salsa was very tasty and the chips were very crisp and fresh. I placed an order to go for Mixed Fajitas (beef and chicken). My order was ready in a very timely manner and neatly packaged for me to take home. I definitely recommend stopping by and sampling their cuisine. The portions I received were generous. The fajitas tasted great. The chicken and beef were both tender, juicy and delicious. They came on a bed of grilled onions served with rice, beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and shredded cheese. All the ingredients were tasty and fresh. I browsed their menu and they have a lot of affordable options to choose from. Their lunch menu seemed especially affordable. I have included photos of their current menu as of 4/16/2025.

5 /5 Kathy Shepherd: Excellent and friendly service. The cook came to our table and visited with us. The warm salsa and crispy chips are delicious. Our group had street tacos and Enchiladas Verde. Look forward to eating here again.
